The Wicked and the Faithful

Hi Friends,

I have had several visions that I just could not understand until this morning.  Thank you Lord, for you are the revealer of all truth.  The Lord said in the book of Jeremiah:

You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart. (Jeremiah 29:13)

“Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things that you do not know.  (Jeremiah 33:3)

There are so many scriptures that encourage us to seek him!

Seek the Lord while He may be found; call on Him while He is near.  Let the wicked man forsake his own way and the unrighteous man his own thoughts; let him return to the Lord, that He may have compassion, and to our God, for He will freely pardon.  Isaiah 55:6-7

Seek the Lord and live!   Amos 5:6

Why do we seek others’ advice, doctor’s, teachers, leaders, parents, peers, best friends…?  The word of God says that wisdom is found in the counsel of many, but why not seek God first? I have found that the Lord is always the answer to every problem and every circumstance.  Why go to those who can only give earthly wisdom?  Why consult yourself and “follow your heart?”  For the heart cannot be trusted. For the Word of God says:

“The heart is deceitful above all else and beyond cure.  Who can understand it?” (Jeremiah 17:9)

We can be led astray by our own passions, desires and fears.  The Lord is truth; He is wisdom! If we seek Him, we will find his wisdom, his understanding and his help.

The visions that I am sharing with you today concern an outpouring of the Holy Spirit and a sudden judgment to come upon the wicked.

The Visions

Water Tossed Out

First I saw water suddenly hit the floor or pavement.  It was like a splash coming from a bucket of water being tossed out.

Gold Filigree

Then I saw a fine gold wire sheet or panel, open in design.  It was a type of filigree, intricate, swirling patterns making tiny openings throughout the sheet.  There was a golden-amber colored liquid bubbling and seeping through the openings.  It seemed to look like honey.  About 2” behind the gold wire mesh was an amber colored plate.  It may have been glass or metal.

The vision reminded me of a bee-keeper’s box that contains panels or plates where the bees build a honeycomb and store their honey.

Heavy Rain
After this I saw a heavy downpour of rain.  The rain was so heavy there was nothing else to be seen.

Water in the Face

After these three visions, several days later, I was praying when I was startled by an outburst of water only inches from my face.  Someone had squeezed a seahorse (toy?) and out came radiating lines of water, as from a sprinkler.

A Writing Hand

Minutes later, I saw a hand holding a pen writing something.  The rest of the arm was hidden by a horizontal mass of something that resembled hardened spray foam in the foreground.

Bubbling Up

Then a day or two later I had another vision of liquid bubbling up.  It was effervescent, carbonated, coming up and overflowing.  It reminded me of a volcano experiment with its bubbling contents coming up from the cone and flowing down its sides.

The Meaning of the Visions

The predominant feature in these visions was the use of water, and other liquids that are dumped out, bubble up, seep through and spring forth.  These all show action; there is no still water. I believe that the status quo of life is to be interrupted.  Each of these visions work together to show God’s intention and what is to be.

Water Tossed Out

The first vision shows judgment for the wicked.  The water was tossed out, as if it were wastewater.  It was water that was no longer serving a purpose.  It was simply dumped on the ground.

“Once again, the kingdom of heaven is like a net that was let down into the lake and caught all kinds of fish.  When it was full, the fishermen pulled it up on the shore. Then they sat down and collected the good fish in baskets, but threw the bad away.  This is how it will be at the end of the age. The angels will come and separate the wicked from the righteous and throw them into the blazing furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”  Matthew 13:47-50

The Gold Filigree

The second vision is in contrast to the first.  The liquid is filtered through a gold filigree mesh.  This scripture came to mind:

“And in all the land, declares the Lord, two-thirds will be cut off and perish, but a third will be left in it. This third I will bring through the fire; I will refine them like silver and test them like gold.  They will call on My name, and I will answer them. I will say, ‘They are My people,’ and they will say, ‘The Lord is our God.’ ”  Zechariah 13:8-9

The passage above, verse 8 describes the first vision of the waste water:  “And in all the land, declares the Lord, two-thirds will be cut off and perish, but a third will be left in it.”   Verse 9 describes the vision of the honey filtered through the gold mesh:  “This third I will bring through the fire; I will refine them like silver and test them like gold.”

God always has a remnant of people that desire him and are devoted to him.  We are the people that he will test.  Everyone’s faith will be tested, just as it has always been.  The prophets were faithful to bring God’s word to his people, but there were those who abused them and killed them.  There will be some of us today who will share the gospel, and die for proclaiming it.  God’s love for mankind is either accepted or rejected.

“But God proves His love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.  Therefore, since we have now been justified by His blood, how much more shall we be saved from wrath through Him!  For if, when we were enemies of God, we were reconciled to Him through the death of His Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through His life!  Romans 5:8-10

The Writing Hand

The second vision of the amber colored liquid or honey, is also contrasted with the vision of the hand that holds the pen and writes. The honey that is filtered through the gold mesh filigree represents the saints that will be refined through testing.  But the hand that holds the pen will declare judgment over the wicked.  In the book of Daniel, a judgment was pronounced upon King Belshazzar of Babylon for toasting the gods of wood, stone and metal with the very cups that were taken from the Temple in Jerusalem.  The hand that wrote on the wall that day, wrote the following words, which Daniel was able to interpret to the king:

  “Mene, Mene, Tekel, Parsin”

Mene -  God has numbered the days of your reign and brought it to an end.

Tekel - You have been weighed on the scales and found wanting.

Peres* - Your kingdom is divided and given to the Medes and Persians.

“Then at Belshazzar’s command, Daniel was clothed in purple, a gold chain was placed around his neck, and he was proclaimed the third highest ruler in the kingdom.

“That very night Belshazzar, King of the Babylonians, was slain, and Darius the Mede took over the kingdom, at the age of sixty-two.”  Daniel 5:26-30

* Note:  Peres is the singular form of Parsin - per “Full Life Study Bible, 1992, NIV, p. 1260

We see in this story, God dealt with the wicked by bringing swift punishment, and with Daniel, his faithful prophet, He gave favor and promoted.

In the vision of the hand with the pen, there was something resembling a mass of hardened spray-on foam.  It was in the foreground of the vision so that only the hand was seen.  I believe that the hand is God’s, who will bring judgment against the wicked leaders of our nation.  The hardened foam is like piled up shaving cream, or whipped cream.  It is not pure white, but slightly yellow.  I believe that this means that God’s mind has been made up.  It is hardened towards the wicked who persist in failing to repent, in spite of warnings.

In the Bible, yellow is the color of sulfur, or brimstone, which God used to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah.  I believe the hardened yellow substance in the foreground of the vision is a sign indicating judgment on the wicked leaders who have hardened their hearts towards God, and refuse to repent.

Just as God brought swift judgment to Belshazzar, and to Sodom and Gomorrah, in the Old Testament, God does the same to the wicked in the New Testament, and in our current times.

In the book of Acts, King Herod was struck down within minutes of receiving praise from men declaring him to be as God, for he did not redirect their praises to God, nor give testimony declaring that he was merely a man.

Now Herod was in a furious dispute with the people of Tyre and Sidon, and they convened before him. Having secured the support of Blastus, the king’s chamberlain, they asked for peace, because their region depended on the king’s country for food. On the appointed day, Herod donned his royal robes, sat on his throne, and addressed the people. And they began to shout, “This is the voice of a god, not a man!”

Immediately, because Herod did not give glory to God, an angel of the Lord struck him down, and he was eaten by worms and died.  Acts 12:20-23

Also in the book of Acts we find the story of Ananias and Sapphira. This couple tried to deceive the church by leading them to believe that they were trusting God for their provision, when they sold their property and gave some of the proceeds to the church. They did this expecting to be honored, while secretly holding back some of the money for themselves.  The Holy Spirit revealed this deception to Peter who then pronounced God’s judgment upon them both.

Now a man named Ananias, together with his wife Sapphira, also sold a piece of property.  With his wife’s full knowledge he kept back part of the money for himself, but brought the rest and put it at the apostles’ feet.

Then Peter said, “Ananias, how is it that Satan has so filled your heart that you have lied to the Holy Spirit and have kept for yourself some of the money you received for the land?  Didn’t it belong to you before it was sold? And after it was sold, wasn’t the money at your disposal? What made you think of doing such a thing? You have not lied just to human beings but to God.”

When Ananias heard this, he fell down and died. And great fear seized all who heard what had happened.  Then some young men came forward, wrapped up his body, and carried him out and buried him.

About three hours later his wife came in, not knowing what had happened.  Peter asked her, “Tell me, is this the price you and Ananias got for the land?”

“Yes,” she said, “that is the price.”

Peter said to her, “How could you conspire to test the Spirit of the Lord? Listen! The feet of the men who buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out also.”

At that moment she fell down at his feet and died. Then the young men came in and, finding her dead, carried her out and buried her beside her husband.  Great fear seized the whole church and all who heard about these events.  Acts 5:1-11

Water in the Face

Now, preceding the vision of the writing hand, was the sudden shot of water to my face.  I believe that this represents God’s “wake up call,” to the church.  The Lord wants us to fully understand the current times and circumstances.  The church is not to sleep, but to be alert to what is going on in the Spirit. Because the days are evil, our job is to share the gospel, to pray for the lost, and encourage others in their faith.  We are to be conformed to God’s image and surrendered to his will.  We are not  here to seek our own welfare and make our own plans as the world does. Instead, we are to be faithful followers of Christ, devoted to him, and exclusively his.

Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.  1 Corinthians 6:19-20

The Heavy Rain

The vision of the very heavy rain followed the vision of “honey.”  I believe that this represents the outpouring of the Holy Spirit in a revival.  The Lord asked me to pray for revival almost 20 years ago.  So ever since I have been praying that the revival comes to New Jersey, and spreading to the entire nation.  In our nation, wickedness has increased to the point of overwhelming amazement.  It is hard for me to believe that wickedness could ever affect every government body and institution, that it could affect every avenue and sector of society.  Lawlessness abounds, corruption is rampant, and sin has reached to the heavens!  We are by far worse than Sodom and Gomorrah.  For we have slaughtered millions upon millions of babies through abortion. But for the grace and patience of Almighty God, we should have been destroyed by now.

I believe that the continuous and faithful prayers of the church have kept destruction at bay.  As I was writing this, I remembered a vision the Lord gave me years ago regarding our nation.

The House at Twilight

I saw a farmhouse with long grass and a weeping willow tree in the yard.  It was twilight, in the evening when suddenly I saw a fireball coming out of the sky towards the house.  Suddenly, it stopped mid air, just before striking the house.

This is what the vision means:  the house represents our nation, just as “the house of Israel” represents the nation of Israel and its people.  The time of the day is just minutes after sunset when there is still light.  This shows that the day is almost over, and nighttime is approaching.  Night generally represents evil and “the deeds of darkness.”

The fireball represents God’s judgment against our nation.  The long grass in the yard shows that much time has already passed, but God’s grace and mercy have been extended to us, in hopes that our nation would return to Him in repentance.  The weeping willow tree in the yard, shows God’s sorrow over a nation that once loved him, and has in so many ways turned its back on him.

Yet, God has given us these twenty years, in addition to all the many previous years, where we have put his patience to the test. But the fact that God held back the fireball from striking the house, shows His intention to punish, and his mercy, to wait for a change of heart on our nation’s part.

Bubbling Up

The last vision to share with you is the effervescent water bubbling up and flowing out of the ground.  I was very happy to see this vision, after the visions of judgment, for I believe that it  represents the revival of the church, and the restoration of our nation to its Christian roots.

But those who drink the water I give will never be thirsty again. It becomes a fresh, bubbling spring within them, giving them eternal life.”  John 4:14

I know that after judgment has come, the Lord’s mercy will follow.  Just as a loving father may punish his son for wrong doing, but afterwards restores his son. By doing so, the child comes to understand that punishment is necessary because of his sin. And because his father loves him and wants him to learn not to go astray, or be harmed by his own actions, he restores him.

“Those whom I love, I reprove and discipline, so be zealous and repent.  Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me.  The one who conquers, I will grant him to sit with me on my throne, as I also conquered and sat down with my Father on his throne.   He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.”  Revelation 3:19-22

As I prayed for this vision, the Lord gave me this passage of scripture, which speaks of the restoration of Israel:

The wilderness and the dry land shall be glad; the desert shall rejoice and blossom like the crocus; it shall blossom abundantly and rejoice with joy and singing.

For waters break forth in the wilderness, and streams in the desert; the burning sand shall become a pool, and the thirsty grounds bubbling springs of water; in the haunt of jackals, where they lie down, the grass shall become reeds and rushes.

And a highway shall be there, and it shall be called the Way of Holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it. It shall belong to those who walk on the way; even if they are fools, they shall not go astray.  No lion shall be there, nor shall any ravenous beast come up on it; they shall not be found there, but the redeemed shall walk there. And the ransomed of the Lord shall return and come to Zion with singing; everlasting joy shall be upon their heads; they shall obtain gladness and joy, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away. Isaiah 35:1-2, 6-10

I truly believe that we will experience a revival in our nation. It could happen simultaneously with trials, persecution and the testing of our faith. Let us be faithful in prayer and believe God, for his will to be done on this earth as it is in heaven! And pray that our faith will not fail! Thanks for reading and sharing. God bless you all!
