Let Justice Roll On

Hi Friends,

So many things have happened in the last few days.  On Saturday morning, I was praying with my prayer group.  We were praying for God’s will for a number of people and situations.  Then we were led to pray for former President Trump and against any assassination attempts.  Then lo and behold, President Trump was the target of that very thing. The bullet just grazed his ear. By the grace and mercy of God, his life was spared!

Our prayer has always been that whatever is hidden in darkness be brought to the light.  The hatred and unmerciful persecution of President Trump by his political and ideological opponents has been more than an ordinary man would have been able to stand.  But I believe that he is God’s man for the hour.  The Lord’s hand is upon him.  He is not a King David, but he is the Lord’s chosen to lead our nation back to a land of law and order.

The Lord has given me six visions within two days.  I will try to address three of them in this post. I will describe the three visions and then interpret them together. The visions concern the nation and the importance of justice, integrity and wisdom.

The Visions

The Picture

In this first vision I saw two photos that were printed on a single square canvas.  The canvas was divided into quadrants by two lines one vertical and one horizontal.  One photo was printed in the upper left quadrant and the other is printed in the lower right quadrant.  The first photo is a grouping of dark red flowers, all facing the same direction, appearing as a crowd of people in a stadium leaning forward, focused on the event.

In the second photo in the lower right quadrant were only two flowers.  The smaller of the two flowers was identical to the flowers previously mentioned. It had many small, dark red petals clustered together.  There was no visible center.  The other flower was larger and had coral-colored large petals radiating from a small center and a single large leaf, “spring green” in color.

The Man in the Hat

In the second vision, I see a man dressed in a black suit and tie with a white shirt.  On his head he wore a straw fedora, or “Panama hat.”  He stands with his arms at his sides and then begins to clap his hands and takes a step forward.  He claps to acknowledge that the speaker or presenter has finished.  With that as a cue, he takes a step forward as if there is something that he must do now.

A Woman’s Head

In the third vision, I see the back of a woman’s head that has been parted into three sections.  The hair is parted horizontally from ear to ear, creating the lower section.  The crown is parted down the center front to back ending at the horizontal line, creating two equal sections.  Each of the three sections are twisted separately, and then gathered into a ponytail.

What the Visions Mean

All three visions were given within the same prayer session, so I believe they should be interpreted together.

The Picture

The dark red flowers in the first vision, I believe represent people of a certain group.  Red in the Bible often denotes blood, bloodshed, war and sin.  Because the color is dark red, it is not the color of fresh blood.  It brought to mind this passage in Revelation:

And the second angel poured out his bowl into the sea, and it turned to blood like that of the dead, and every living thing in the sea died.  Revelation 16:3

The flowers I believe represent people who are not saved, for they are colored red representing sin.   Jesus referred to those who have not been born again as “the dead.”

He said to another man, “Follow me.”

But he replied, “Lord, first let me go and bury my father.”

Jesus said to him, “Let the dead bury their own dead, but you go and proclaim the kingdom of God.”  Luke 9:59-60

The flowers are the color of dead men’s blood, a very dark red. The dead are those who have not yet been made alive by the Spirit of God.  And because the flowers are all facing the same direction, they appear as if they were spectators at a sporting event.

In the lower right quadrant was the photo of the two flowers that were quite different from each other.  The flower with simple, large, slightly overlapping petals were colored coral.  There are only two references to coral in the Bible.  One compares wisdom to the value of coral.

But where can wisdom be found, and where does understanding dwell? No man can know its value, nor is it found in the land of the living…It cannot be bought with the finest gold, nor can its price be weighed out in silver.  It cannot be bought with the gold of Ophir, with precious onyx or lapis lazuli.  Neither gold nor crystal can compare to it, nor jewels of fine gold be exchanged for it.  Coral and jasper are unworthy of mention; the price of wisdom is beyond rubies.

Then He looked at wisdom and appraised it; He established it and searched it out.  And He said to man, ‘Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom, and to turn away from evil is understanding.’ ”  Job 28:12-13, 15-19, 27

Coral has value for it is listed among the other costly minerals: onyx, lapis lazuli, topaz, rubies and pure gold.  And wisdom from God has greater value than these.

The coral colored flower I believe represents believers, for they have chosen the Lord as their God and King.  As children of God, we are given wisdom when we ask.

“If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.” James 1:5

The coral colored flower representing the believer, and the dark red flower representing the unsaved, the natural man, are together for the purpose of influence.  All followers of Jesus have been commanded to share the gospel to all people.

“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”  Matthew 28:19-20

The gospel has the power to transform a person.  When a person believes in the Lord, he leaves his old sinful ways behind and chooses to walk in God’s ways.  He leaves the kingdom of darkness and enters the kingdom of light.

We are to be those who influence others by the power of the Holy Spirit living in us.  The natural man, if left to himself, will remain in the world and will hold to the world’s ways and the world’s views.  All people need the Lord, and with the help of the Holy Spirit, we can share the gospel and “snatch them from the fire.”

Jesus said:

“Whoever is not with me is against me, and whoever does not gather with me scatters.”  Matthew 12:30

We must be careful not to be influenced by those around us.  We need to share the gospel so that they will know the Lord and receive his mercy, forgiveness, and the promise of eternal life. However, if we become close friends with those who do not know the Lord, in a time of distress, they may offer their “good counsel,” that comes from the wisdom of the world.  In our times of weakness, we need to seek God first, not listen to the worldly counsel that comes unbelievers. They may have good intentions, but their advice could lead us astray. Godly counsel is found in the word of God, and by seeking the Lord in prayer.

For the wisdom of this world is foolishness in God’s sight. As it is written: “He catches the wise in their craftiness.”  And again, “The Lord knows that the thoughts of the wise are futile.”  1 Corinthians 3:19-20

The Man in the Panama Hat

In the second vision, there was a man dressed in a black suit, wearing a Panama hat. He was dressed like one of the men in the secret service, but the hat distinguished him from those agents in earthly service. I believe that he was dispatched from heaven as an angel on an assignment to watch over President Trump.  This man was standing on the platform listening to the speech or presentation.  He watched over the scene and was aware of all that was going on.  Our prayers Saturday morning, against any attempt of assassination against the former president were heard in heaven. We are very grateful to find that the plans of the wicked one who tried to take him out were thwarted.

But I believe that it was very important for all to see that blood was drawn. The bloody ear, is a clear indication that the intention of the shooter was to kill, and that the power of God was present to save and deliver. We know now that there were others all around the nation that were praying for Trump’s safety including Tim Scott the senator from South Carolina.  He gave thanks and praise to God for intervening at the scene and thwarting the devil’s schemes.

We also thank God for hearing our prayers and doing what only he can do.

Lord, we thank you that you keep your angels around Trump and our leaders. We pray that you lead them and guide them in their service to you and to the nation, making wise choices and decisions on our behalf.  We pray especially for Trump that he will seek your godly counsel and not the counsel that comes from the world. We want him to be all that he can be in your hands, fulfilling your purpose for our great nation. Help us to rededicate our country as: “one nation under God with liberty and justice for all.”

As the angel in the vision, clapped his hands, he declared that what was needed was accomplished. As he stepped forward, he confirmed that your plans and purposes for our nation are now set in motion and will go forth.  Nothing will be able to impede your plans for this great country.  Thank you Lord, may everyone who calls upon your name, out of a genuine love for you and our country, receive your goodwill and your divine protection and guidance.  We bless your holy name, Jesus!  Amen!

The Head of Hair

In this vision I saw the hair sectioned off into 3 fairly equal portions of hair.  Each section of hair was twisted and then brought together in a ponytail.  The first scripture that came to mind was this:

Though one may be overpowered by another, two can withstand him. And a threefold cord is not quickly broken.  Ecclesiastes 4:12

In the vision the hair was twisted and then combined into a group of three. This is the same way that rope is made. The twisted yarns are gathered and then placed under constant tension as they are then all twisted together. It is the constant, even tension and the twisting that creates a strong rope.

I believe that this vision represents the strength of integrity.  The head is the seat of judgment, and reason. And when a person is led by the Holy Spirit there is the third element: true wisdom.

We are made in the image of God and composed of three distinct parts: the body, the soul, which includes the mind, the will, and the emotions, and the spirit, which is capable of communing with God.  When our body, soul and spirit are aligned together, we have integrity.

The natural man without the Spirit of God is dead in his spirit.  His body and his soul can be aligned, and we can say that he has integrity for his thoughts, words and deeds are congruent.  There may appear to be no hypocrisy.  But the natural man is motivated by his flesh and by what pleases his five senses. The natural man is moved by his passions and his fears. He avoids pain and seeks pleasure. He desires the material things that elevate his social status and his sense of personal pride. “He sees by this world’s light.” (John 11:9)

But when we are alive in Christ and the Holy Spirit dwells within us, we can have integrity at a greater level which we might call “walking in the Spirit.” The Lord is calling us to be people of the Spirit.  We are to love what God loves and hate what he hates. We are to be moved by the things that move Him. The more time we spend in intimate communion with God and in his word, the more we will appreciate his ways, and take on his qualities, which we call the Fruit of the Spirit:  love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.

As I prayed for the interpretation of these visions, I asked God to show me a passage in the Bible that would help me to understand its main idea and purpose.  He brought me to Amos Chapter 5  It concerns justice.  The Lord was angry with the leaders and the judges of Israel for they were taking bribes and turning justice to wormwood.

In many ways the leaders of our nation through their misuse of power have caused grief to their political opponents. Bringing charges against the innocent to keep them busy fighting off accusations made through the IRS, the Dept. of Justice, the FBI, and other governmental agencies. They cause untold stress and financial ruin.  Their desire is to rid themselves of any potential contenders for their political positions.  This is simply corruption.  It is sin, and the Lord does not like it.  These are the words of the Lord as written by the prophet Amos:

“Seek the Lord and live, or he will sweep through the tribes of Joseph like a fire;
it will devour them, and Bethel will have no one to quench it.

There are those who turn justice into bitterness and cast righteousness to the ground.

He who made the Pleiades and Orion, who turns midnight into dawn and darkens day into night, who calls for the waters of the sea and pours them out over the face of the land—the Lord is his name. With a blinding flash he destroys the stronghold and brings the fortified city to ruin.

There are those who hate the one who upholds justice in court and detests the one who tells the truth.

You levy a straw tax on the poor and impose a tax on their grain.  Therefore, though you have built stone mansions, you will not live in them; though you have planted lush vineyards, you will not drink their wine. For I know how many are your offenses and how great your sins.

There are those who oppress the innocent and take bribes and deprive the poor of justice in the courts. Therefore the prudent keep quiet in such times, for the times are evil. Amos 5:6-13

Away with the noise of your songs!  I will not listen to the music of your harps.  But let justice roll on like a river, righteousness like a never-failing stream! Amos 5:23-24

The land of Israel was corrupt.  Its courts were corrupt and they continued their “worship of him” as if they had done nothing wrong.  We cannot compartmentalize our lives, by “keeping the faith” on Sunday, and by being a friend of the devil the rest of the week.

The Lord asks us to

Hate evil, love good; maintain justice in the courts.”  Amos 5:15

If we want to see a change in our nation, if we want the laws of our land to reflect God’s laws, and have leaders that will uphold the law rather than use it as a political weapon, then we must follow the Lord’s instructions:

“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”  2 Chronicles 7:14

Let’s pray for our current president, and our next president.  Let’s humble ourselves before God and repent for our own sins, and the sins of this nation.  The Lord is faithful.  He heard our prayers for the former president’s safety, and as a result, the assassination attempt failed.  Now we need to pray for all our leaders’ salvation.  We certainly do not want anyone go to hell.  So let’s partner with God to see more and more people turning to Him for salvation, and the infilling of the Holy Spirit.  It is imperative–today is the day of salvation!

Let’s also remember to pray for all the nations of the earth and all the people groups.  The world needs the Lord. There is nothing to small or too great for Him. Through our prayers we can partner with God to bring about his will for the people around the world. He has been appearing to Muslims in dreams. People who would not otherwise hear the gospel message are encountering God and giving their lives to him. The Lord wants none to be lost, so we need to submit to his will and share the “Good News” with others. Let us pray that God would send a revival to our nation and the nations around the world. We will God open the eyes of the blind, we will see the lame walking, and the oppressed set free. With a revival, we will see every sector of life touched by the hand of God: our schools, our places of employment, the government, the entertainment business, the news media, and every commercial enterprise. Let us be faithful in prayer. Let us pray without ceasing. Let us believe God for our nation to return to HIm.  Let us believe that the next generation will eagerly take up the baton of faith and run with it!

God bless you all and please share this post and the gospel with others!
