Return to Me

Hi Friends,

I hope you are all well.  Today I am writing about a very strong vision, which concerns our nation.

There is no doubt that we have been experiencing quite a shaking.  But the Lord wants the church to arise and awaken, for we have been asleep for way too long.

I believe that the Lord is returning soon for his bride, as I have received many visions concerning his return, and the rapture.  We do not know the specific day or hour, but like others in the church, I believe the time is short, and we must do everything to get ready for him.

The Vision

I saw a hand clenched in a fist.  As the fist tightened, blood ran out between the fingers.

What I believe the vision means:

I believe the hand is God’s own.  He is angry and clenches his fist to show his rage. The blood that comes from  the hand would represent human blood.  This is a vision that concerns judgment.

So as I thought and prayed about this vision I asked the Lord, who is being crushed?  Who is coming under judgment?  Is this a vision for end times, for current times, or the near future?  Is this a warning vision, whose outcome could perhaps change with repentance and intercession?

In the Bible, there is a passage that came to mind, “The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of men who suppress the truth by their wickedness, since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them.  For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities--his eternal power and divine nature--have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.”  Romans 1:18-20

This passage came right from the New Testament - Paul is the author.  What he was seeing at that  time was terrible persecution throughout the Roman world, and God’s wrath coming upon those who were disobedient and who rejected the truth.

Peter also wrote about judgment against the church, as well as judgment against those outside the church.

“For it is time for judgment to begin with God’s household; and if it begins with us, what will the outcome be for those who do not obey the gospel of God?  And, ‘If it is hard for the righteous to be saved, what will become of the ungodly and the sinner?’”  1 Peter 4:17-18

God’s wrath is real, and it should concern every believer. Non-believers are simply unaware of the danger ahead. Just like the people in Noah’s day, they were unconcerned and unaware.

There are some Christians who do not believe that God brings judgment to us. They somehow have decided for themselves that it was only an Old Testament occurrence. But I have two examples of New Testament examples and a current day example as well.

The first is a Biblical example of God’s wrath and judgment coming upon King Herod in the Book of Acts.  Herod was in Caesarea addressing the people from Tyre and Sidon who were there to entreat Herod, to supply them with food.  Their regions depended on his country as a source of food. “They shouted, ‘This is the voice of a god, not of a man.’  Immediately, because Herod did not give praise to God, an angel of the Lord struck him down, and he was eaten by worms and died.”  Acts 12:22-23

God brought swift judgment upon Herod, for not setting the record straight.  He was not a god but an ordinary man.  But he allowed flattery and pride to get in the way of the truth. And God judged him for his pride and his willingness to allow a lie to go unexposed.

Another Biblical example of God’s wrath and judgment is the account of Ananias and Sapphira also in the Book of Acts.  In this story, Luke recounts that the disciples were selling their property and giving all the proceeds to the apostles to buy food and necessities for those living in the community of believers.  Ananias and his wife Sapphira had a piece of property that they sold and donated a portion of the funds to share with the group.  However, they chose not to disclose the fact that they withheld a portion for themselves.  They hid this information from the others, because they didn’t want to seem selfish, or less generous than the others.  Perhaps their faith was weak and they were unable to trust God for their needs.

Peter through a word of knowledge (the Holy Spirit’s revelation), found out their lie.  He charged them with not only lying to them, but also to the Holy Spirit.

When Ananias was confronted and asked to tell the truth, he lied.  Peter said to him, “Ananias, how is it that Satan has so filled your heart that you have lied to the Holy Spirit and have kept for yourself some of the money you received for the land?  Didn’t it belong to you before it was sold?  And after it was sold, wasn’t the money at your disposal?  What made you think of doing such a thing?  You have not lied to men but to God.”

“When Ananias heard this, he fell down and died.  And great fear seized all who heard what had happened.  Then the young men came forward, wrapped up his body, and carried him out and buried him.”

“About three hours later his wife came in, not knowing what had happened.  Peter asked her, ‘Tell me, is this the price you and Ananais got for the land?’

“‘Yes,’ she said, ‘that is the price.’”

“Peter said to her, ‘How could you agree to test the Spirit of the Lord?  Look! The feet of the men who buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out also.’”

“At that moment she fell down at his feet and died.   Then the young men came in and, finding her dead, carried her out and buried her beside her husband.  Great fear seized the whole church and all who heard about these events.”  Acts 5:3-11

God judged this couple because they were more concerned for their image, and position in the group of believers, than they were about pleasing God.  This was a blatant show of disrespect for the Lord.  Wanting to be admired or honored by others is a very common stumbling block. And in this case, their honor caused the Lord to be dishonored.  “They loved the praise of men more than the praise of God.” John 12:43

God found fault in the couple because of their lying.  Jesus taught how important it is to love the truth.  The Holy Spirit is called the Spirit of Truth.  Also Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth and the light, no one comes to the Father except through me.”  John 14:6

By contrast, Jesus called the devil “the father of lies.” And he declared, in the Book of Revelation, that liars are destined to hell:  “Outside are the dogs, those who practice magic arts, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.”  Revelation 22:15

Now in our day, at this moment in time, we can see the wickedness all around us. It seems that things that have been hidden, are finally coming to the light. God hates lying, murder, idolatry, violence and immorality. Our sins are like those of ancient pagan nations. Everyday we sacrifice our children to the gods of convenience and self-love. Every evening we see violence, murder and a hefty dose of lying on television. We are worse than Sodom and Gomorrah. It is only God’s mercy that has allowed us to live thus far.

Probably the most glaring of our nation’s sins is the sin of abortion.  Our nation has killed over sixty-two million infants. Posted on the website of the American Life League , the Guttmacher Institute (the “independent research arm” of Planned Parenthood Federation of America ), it is stated that there were:

  • U.S. Abortions in 2017: ~ 862,320 surgical/medical abortions

  • Abortions per day: 2362+

  • An additional 14 million chemical abortions are performed each year by birth control pills that contain abortifacient drugs.

Abortion has many reasons:

  • Young girls who become pregnant, are ashamed, and afraid to let anyone know, so they do what their friends or their boyfriend tells them to do.

  • Men that do not want the responsibility of fatherhood, and have no desire to marry, encourage abortions.

  • Ambitious women that are in the prime of their careers, do not want to stop working to have a baby.

  • Some women just find the idea of having a baby intrusive and something that would hamper their plans.

  • Some couples feel that now is not a convenient time to have children.  They say that they want to be more established in their careers first.

  • Many young single moms are already overwhelmed and do not feel that they can afford another child.

These may be the reasons given, but none of them can justify murder in the eyes of the Lord.  “Thou shalt not kill.” Exodus 20:13

We have sinned against God as individuals and as a nation.  We cannot hide our sin - we cannot ignore our sin - we cannot blame our sin on someone else.  These are tactics to justify sin or lessen the impact on the conscience. But God looks at our hearts and judges rightly.  He wants and expects us to  repent.

To repent is not to merely feel sorry for our sins, because this does not make a change.  To repent means to change one’s mind, to go the other way.  There must be a determination to do things differently.  Jesus told the woman caught in adultery: “Jesus declared. ‘Go now and leave your life of sin.’”  John 8:10-11

If we look at what is happening in our nation right now, there is chaos, rebellion against authority, reckless destruction, rampant lying, fear mongering, hatred, murder, violence, perversity, and immorality.  There is drug abuse, suicide, alcoholism, rape, lesbianism, homosexuality, child abuse, corruption, extortion, bribery and wickedness in all its forms. The nation is divided.  Many people have been predicting increased civil unrest, and terror following the upcoming election.

Our land needs to be healed.  Thank the Lord that he has made a way possible:

“If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”  2 Chronicles 7:14

The Return

This past Saturday, September 26 , 2020, was a special day in our nation.  There were many people who traveled to Washington, DC to gather for prayer.  The event was called “The Return.”  It was a prayer event calling the nation to return to God. And returning to God is exactly what the Lord wants and expects of us, his church.  This was a call to repent on behalf of our nation.  Even now and going forward, we must fast and pray earnestly for America. Without repentance, there can be no forgiveness, and no healing. We have been praying for a spiritual revival  for our people, so now the need is urgent. We must get right  with God.

“‘Ever since the time of your ancestors you have turned away from my decrees and have not kept them.  Return to me, and I will return to you,’ says the Lord Almighty.   Malachi 3:7

We can easily point out others faults and sins, but that is not what the Lord asks of us.  We are to pray for the lost, and for all people to turn to the Lord and so be saved.  Jesus said, “But I tell you, love your enemies, and pray for those who persecute you.” Matthew 5:44

We are also to pray “for kings and all those in authority that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.”  1 Timothy 2:2

And most importantly, we, the church are to“TURN FROM OUR WICKED WAYS. Yes, the Lord wants us to recognize our own sin and make a lasting, meaningful change. We have sinned as the world has, but we have also sinned through apathy, complacency and neglect:

  • We have allowed our children to be taught ideologies that are in direct opposition to God’s word.  We have compromised our values for the convenience of free public schools.  As a result, our children have embraced the values of the world and question or dismiss altogether the need for God and faith.

  • We have failed to teach our children the word of God and to raise them to respect his authority.  We have given our children’s sports and outside activities preference over attending church.  This is idolatry, placing our children above the Lord.

  • We have left the care of the poor, the elderly, the incarcerated, and the instruction of our children to others.  God wants us to get involved.  We are supposed to be a light, a city on a hill.  How can we affect a change  if we hide from those that need our help?

“For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.’ Then the righteous will answer him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?’ ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers,  you did it to me.’

“Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. For I was hungry and you gave me no food, I was thirsty and you gave me no drink, I was a stranger and you did not welcome me, naked and you did not clothe me, sick and in prison and you did not visit me.’ Then they also will answer, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to you?’ Then he will answer them, saying, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to me.’ And these will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”  Matthew 25:25-46

We have given our authority to other people, which is not a sin, but we have failed to oversee the job that they are doing.  If we have teachers that are teaching things our children should not be taught, it is our responsibility to send them to another school, or teach them ourselves.

If we have given authority to the government to take care of our nation’s business, then we are responsible to elect God-fearing men and women to hold those positions.  If we have corruption in our government it is because we have elected morally corrupt people.  We will be held accountable for the things which we ourselves have done and the things we should have done.  If we fail to vote, then we have failed in our responsibility to be a keeper of our nation.

As the church, the Bride of Christ, and as the temple of the Holy Spirit, our job on this earth is to be faithful to God, to build his kingdom and to restrain wickedness.  If we do not vote for people who are aligned to support God’s laws, his word and his ways then we have failed him.

Do you remember that Jesus said, “Whoever is not with me is against me, and whoever does not gather with me scatters.” Luke 11:23   If we do not vote for people who will defend life, who will defend marriage as a covenant made between one man and one woman with the blessing of God, and who will defend and protect our Constitution as its originators intended, then we will be held accountable for our negligence.

Our vote is a most important tool to hold our government accountable.  Unfortunately, many Christians believe that they should separate themselves from politics altogether, and so they do not even vote.  This shows our apathy, complacency and negligence.  And God will hold them accountable.  Please do not excuse yourself from this important task.  Please vote to support people who will undertake to do God’s will in the federal, state and local governments. We want the laws of our land to reflect God’s laws: The Ten Commandments.

Our vote makes a difference:  How will the supreme court decide about abortion?

How will our vote for those in office protect free speech, and the right to assemble?  How will our vote affect our right to practice our faith unhindered?  How will our vote affect our right to protect ourselves?

Through silence, complacency and neglect of our civic duties:

  • We have allowed the government to remove prayer from schools.

  • We have allowed the government to make abortion legal.

  • We  have allowed the government to change the definition of marriage to include relationships between two men or two women.  What is next?

  • We have allowed the government (public schools) to teach our children about perverse sexual practices. (beginning with kindergarten)

  • We have allowed the government (public schools) to teach our children to disrespect the flag and to have shame for America.

These are just some of the sins of neglect, however there are so many more sins for which we need to repent both for ourselves and for our nation.

As we repent in earnest, the Lord in whom we hope, will look favorably upon us and not bring the judgment that we deserve.

However, I believe that we are in the last days, so our nation may still go through more shaking and more difficult times. The Lord calls these “birth pains.”

In 2017, I wrote a post called, “Judgment, Mercy, Judgment, Mercy…”  It was about a vision that the Lord had given me many years earlier.  I saw an inflatable happy face toy rolling down a hill.  I heard a voice repeat: “Judgment, mercy, judgment, mercy….”  The Lord was showing me that he was bringing judgment against the nation in order that some would repent, and that he would have the opportunity to show his mercy and save them.

Because of this vision, I learned that judgment should never be seen as a terrible thing, even though it is a frightening thought.  If the Lord is able to reach even one soul, through discipline, in the form of judgment, then we should see it as a good thing.

“My son, do not reject the discipline of the Lord, and do not loathe his rebuke, for the Lord disciplines the one he loves, as does a father the son in whom he delights.”   Proverbs 3:11-12

Today, we see judgement against many nations and people, However if you have doubts about these things, we can use China as a current day example.

What sins has China committed?

Human Rights Abuses - Christians, Uyghurs (Muslims), Falon Gong practitioners and dissenters:

  • Imprisoned

  • Property confiscated

  • Forced labor/slave labor

  • Concentration camps

  • Live organ harvesting

  • Forced marriages

  • Forced sterilization

  • Forced abortions

  • Whole communities leveled to the ground

  • Censorship of speech - Implementing the National Security Law - dissenters arrested and imprisoned

  • Government take-over -  Hong Kong.

  • Threatening Taiwan - to annex to Mainland China

  • Attempting to control trade routes by setting up military bases on islands they created in the ocean, laying claim to those waters which were formerly open.

  • Forming partnerships to influence nations - China creates a worldwide presence through partnerships with social media, tech companies, nations, major corporations, government agencies, universities, and the scientific community to influence and control another nation.  China’s primary objective is to replace the US currency with their own, so that they have greater control over the world’s trade.  Their goal is to become the dominant world power.

  • Collect personal data from the citizens of nations around the globe.  They collect data from social media, and from transactions made with Chinese owned companies who share their information with the Chinese government.

  • Cashless transactions  China has already begun to implement its digital currency.  The Chinese make purchases using their phones.  The national bank can approve or disapprove any transaction. They can punish dissenters by blocking their accounts, withdrawing their funds, and cut their wages by the push of a button.

  • China’s goal is to control all wealth, and to control every nation.  It seeks to influence every sector of a nation’s culture: business, technology, education, entertainment, and government.  China forms partnerships that make leaders wealthy, and places their people in jeopardy.

“The love of money is the root of all kinds of evil.” 1 Timothy 6:10

  • Government/Corporate Espionage

  • Intellectual Property Theft

  • Propaganda to undermine nation sovereignty

  • The Corona virus - infecting the world, buying up the PPE, withholding information, and putting forth false information to mislead other nations.

Sin is sin.  China has sinned greatly - What has it cost her?  What do I see as God’s judgments?

Judgments against China 2020

  • 3 typhoons have destroyed crops and left people homeless.

  • Unusual lightning strikes and even a large fireball

  • Tornadoes

  •  7 earthquakes within  9 days

  • 300 rivers flooded, and with record flooding destroying crops, homes and businesses.

  • Drought in other areas have also destroyed crops.

  • Swarms of locusts have destroyed crops.

  • Grains (corn) in storage have been rotting - destroyed by mold

  • Warnings of food shortages coming.

  • Corona virus - cause of many deaths.

  • Large hailstones looking like “ice sculptures of the the corona virus,” in Beijing

  • Snow flakes falling in Beijing on a hot summer day

  • Elsewhere in China, a sudden 40 degree drop in temperature created a snow storm with knee deep snow in the middle of summer, animals in the pasture had to be brought inside.

  • A river running bright red

  • A 1000 year old bridge specially designed to handle heavy rains and flooding collapsed.

  • Heavy rains day in day out for over 40 days.

  • A new strain of swine flu, avian flu, and the bubonic plague have made their appearance in China in addition to the Corona virus which continues to be a problem.

(Most of the above news I have received from China in Focus w/Tiffany Meyer and Cross Roads with Joshua Philips, both YouTube News Channels.)

As I have said before, it is easy to see the sins in others.  But the word of God clearly states that, “You, therefore have no excuse, you who pass judgment on someone else, for at whatever point you judge another, you are condemning yourself, because you who pass judgment do the same things.”  Romans 2:1

So we need to repent on behalf of our nation, and at the same time, show concern and mercy for China and other nations like her, by praying for them. We must not hold our political “adversaries,” in contempt. But pray for them and forgive them, when they do or say something that harms another group or person.

The Lord is soon to return - and many people in our nation and even in our own families will go to hell, if they do not repent and give their lives to God, accepting Jesus as their Lord and savior.

Today is  “Yom Kippur,” the day of atonement.  It is amazing that the Return was this weekend, and that today is the day of atonement. And we know that Jesus’ blood shed on the cross atones for our sins, and the sins of the world! That’s God’s amazing timing!   So let us pray not only for our nation, let us pray for the nations of the world, that their people will make their peace with God.

Many believers have chosen to fast these next days before the election.  Some started 40 days before November 3, 2020.  And others have been fasting since the Corona virus caused our nation to shut down.   No matter when you choose to fast, let’s commit our ways to the Lord, for if we seek him with all our hearts, and turn from our selfish and wicked ways, then we may see a revival in our nation. Perhaps the disasters that China has already experienced, we will avoid.

However, since the scriptures tell us that in the end times we will experience much turmoil and natural disasters, we have to expect it. So please do not think that God did not hear your prayers.  He will make himself known to you, even in times of trouble.

“You  will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed.  Such things must happen, but the end is still to come.  Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.  There will be famines and earthquakes in various places.  All these are the beginning of birth pains. Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me.  At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people.  Because of the increase of wickedness the love of most will grow cold, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved.  And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.”  Matthew 24:6-14

So we should pray and encourage those around us to accept the good news of the gospel.  We were given instructions by the Lord to “Heal the sick, raise the dead cleanse those who have leprosy, and cast out demons. Freely you have been given, freely give.”  Matthew 10:8

We are watchmen, so we warn people of the coming judgment, and hold fast to the word of God. Please share this message with others.  And keep trusting God!   Amen!
