Father, Draw them to Jesus!

Hi Everyone,

Today, I am writing a message that the Lord confirmed with me by showing me two visions. Usually, the Lord gives me visions and then I seek him for the meaning. But today is different. The message comes first and then the visions confirm. Hallelujah! God is good! He answers our prayers.

My sister and I were praying for our brother and our family members that need real deliverance. Our prayers this morning touched the heart of God and he answered me! He made it known that he heard our prayers and that he was going to do as we asked. Just like the scriptures declare: “Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven.” Matthew 18:19

So we know without a doubt that the Lord will deliver them. And then I continued writing what the Lord had given to me in a message. Just before posting, I spent more time praying for the Lord to confirm that it was ready, complete and on target with his purpose. As I prayed, the Lord gave me the following two visions to confirm:

A Hole with Wires

I saw a small hole in a metal panel with several colorful wires protruding from its opening. The wires had been cut to about 5-6” in length. Suddenly, the wires started to move and twist. Someone unseen was pulling on the wires from the other side. The wires disappeared through the hole and then the hole sealed up right before my eyes.

A Piece of Unfolded Paper

In the second vision, I saw a small piece of paper that had previously been folded, then opened out flat. The paper had a horizontal tear from its center to the edge of the paper. Then I saw the tear as it was being mended.

In both visions, the hole and the tear were entirely restored as if they had never been there.

I believe that the hole in the first vision represents a spiritual opening to the demonic realm created by sin. The wires represent power and communication. It is through this opening the devil and his demons gain access to a person’s mind in order to comunnicate and torment. The Lord was showing me that because of our prayers, he was going to cut off communication between the demons and my brother (and other family members). He was going to seal the opening so that the devil would never be able to access this opening again! Hallelujah!

The tear in the paper represents what was done to my family and to my brother through sin. The mending of the tear shows that the Lord will heal the spiritual and emotional wounds that the evil one inflicted upon my brother and my other family members. God will also restore and heal the broken relationships that the sin of divination caused to divide our family. Another Hallelujah!

My sister and I have been praying for twenty seven years against this practice of divination. Finally, we will see the end of this evil. Thank you Jesus!

Now to share the message:

I believe this message is for all people, because everyone needs to appreciate the Lord’s attributes and his nature. We all need to know his heart. As we read his word, he reveals himself to us. As we spend time with him, we develop an intimate relationship with him. The Lord wants all people to know him and to understand his ways, and to come to him to be saved. The word says that “God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.” John 4:24

Without an understanding of who God is, we can worship what we do not know, or worship a God with attributes that we have given him, rather than worship who he really is.

The Message:

With lies abounding, violence, and corruption everywhere, where can we find truth?  Where can we find peace?  Is there a place of rest and safety?  There are many questions, but only one answer:  Jesus!

He is the strong tower into which we run.  He is our healer and our deliverer our provider and our all in all.  He is the solution to every problem.  Why?  Because he is both fully God and fully man, he understands our weaknesses and the human experience of life on this earth.

He was the perfect lamb of God who died for the sins of the world.  He is our peace.

I would like to share a portion of scripture that was inspired by God and recorded by the prophet Isaiah in the Bible.  He wrote this prophetic revelation about the Lord almost 700 years before Jesus came to the earth in the flesh.

Who has believed our message and to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?
He grew up before him like a tender shoot, and like a root out of dry ground.
He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him, nothing in his appearance that we should desire him.
He was despised and rejected by men, a man of sorrows and familiar with suffering.
Like one from whom men hide their faces, he was despised, and we esteemed him not.

Surely he took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows;
yet we considered him stricken by God, smitten by him and afflicted.
But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed.
We all, like sheep have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way;
and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all.

He was oppressed and afflicted, yet he did not open his mouth;
he was led like a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is silent, so he did not open his mouth.
By oppression and judgment he was taken away. And who can speak of his decendants? For he was cut off from the land of the living,  for the transgression of my people he was stricken.
He was assigned a grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death,
though he had done no violence, nor was any deceit in his mouth.

Yet it was the Lord’s will to crush him and cause him to suffer, and though the Lord makes his life a guilt offering, he will see his offspring and prolong his days, and the will of the Lord shall prosper in his hand.

After the suffering of his soul, he will see the light of life and be satisfied;
by his knowledge my righteous servant will justify many, and he will bear their iniquities.
Therefore I will give him a portion among the great, and he will divide the spoils with the strong, because he poured out his life unto death, and was numbered with the transgressors;
For he bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.
Isaiah 53:1-12

This is our Lord Jesus, a suffering servant, a man of sorrows.  Those who heard him teach, knew that he was no ordinary man.  Many people were attracted by his message of salvation and his teachings that carried authority, wisdom and truth.  Some wanted to follow him, but soon found that his way was the way of hardship of self-denial and ultimately, the way of the cross.

Now when Jesus saw a crowd around him, he gave orders to go over to the other side. And a scribe came up and said to him, “Teacher, I will follow you wherever you go.” And Jesus said to him, “Foxes have holes, and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay his head.” Another of the disciples said to him, “Lord, let me first go and bury my father.” And Jesus said to him, “Follow me, and leave the dead to bury their own dead.”  Matthew 8:18-22

And another time, a rich young ruler came up to him desiring to justify himself. When he found out the true cost of following Jesus, he hung his head, turned around and left.

And as he was setting out on his journey, a man ran up and knelt before him and asked him, “Good Teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?”

And Jesus said to him, “Why do you call me good? No one is good except God alone. You know the commandments: ‘Do not murder, Do not commit adultery, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Do not defraud, Honor your father and mother.’”

And he said to him, “Teacher, all these I have kept from my youth.”

And Jesus, looking at him, loved him, and said to him, “You lack one thing: go, sell all that you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me.”  Disheartened by the saying, he went away sorrowful, for he had great possessions.

And Jesus looked around and said to his disciples, “How difficult it will be for those who have wealth to enter the kingdom of God!”  And the disciples were amazed at his words. But Jesus said to them again, “Children, how difficult it is to enter the kingdom of God! It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.”

And they were exceedingly astonished, and said to him, “Then who can be saved?”

Jesus looked at them and said, “With man it is impossible, but not with God. For all things are possible with God.”  Mark 10:17-27

These passages of scripture will make you think.  We all must count the cost of following Jesus because the days ahead are evil.  Even so, I must also give you this scripture to contemplate:

Then he called the crowd to him along with his disciples and said: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.  For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me and for the gospel will save it.  What does it profeit a man to gain the whole world, yet forfeit his soul?  Or what can a man give in exchange for his soul?  If anyone is ashamed of me and my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will be ashamed of him, when he comes in his Father’s glory with the holy angels.”  Mark 8:34-38

So we must follow the Lord for he has the words of life.  There is no where else to go—there is no one else with whom I would rather spend all of my eternity.  It is Jesus, and no one else.

At one point in the Lord’s ministry, he revealed a truth that others did not understand.  It was a teaching that offended their minds, because they were not ready to receive the spiritual food and the teaching he presented to them.  As a result, many of his followers deserted him.

 “I am the bread of life.  Your ancestors ate the manna in the wilderness, yet they died. But here is the bread that comes down from heaven, which anyone may eat and not die.  I am the living bread that came down from heaven. Whoever eats this bread will live forever. This bread is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.”

Then the Jews began to argue sharply among themselves, “How can this man give us his flesh to eat?”

Jesus said to them, “Very truly I tell you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you.  Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day.  For my flesh is real food and my blood is real drink.  Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in him.  Just as the living Father sent me and I live because of the Father, so the one who feeds on me will live because of me.  This is the bread that came down from heaven. Your ancestors ate manna and died, but whoever feeds on this bread will live forever.”  He said this while teaching in the synagogue in Capernaum.

On hearing it, many of his disciples said, “This is a hard teaching. Who can accept it?”

Aware that his disciples were grumbling about this, Jesus said to them, “Does this offend you?  Then what if you see the Son of Man ascend to where he was before!  The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you—they are full of the Spirit and life.  Yet there are some of you who do not believe.” For Jesus had known from the beginning which of them did not believe and who would betray him.  He went on to say, “This is why I told you that no one can come to me unless the Father has enabled them.”

From this time many of his disciples turned back and no longer followed him.

“You do not want to leave too, do you?” Jesus asked the Twelve.

Simon Peter answered him, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life.  We have come to believe and to know that you are the Holy One of God.”

Then Jesus replied, “Have I not chosen you, the Twelve? Yet one of you is a devil!”  (He meant Judas, the son of Simon Iscariot, who, though one of the Twelve, was later to betray him.)  John 6:48-71

It is important to understand scripture, and to understand the heart of God.  Not everyone hears the Lord’s voice.  Not everyone is ready to receive the spiritual words that come to bring life.

Then the disciples came and said to him, “Why do you speak to them in parables?”

And he answered them, “To you it has been given to know the secrets of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been given.  For to the one who has, more will be given, and he will have an abundance, but from the one who has not, even what he has will be taken away.  This is why I speak to them in parables, because seeing they do not see, and hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand.  Indeed, in their case the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled that says:

“‘You will indeed hear but never understand, and you will indeed see but never perceive.  For this people's heart has grown dull, and with their ears they can barely hear, and their eyes they have closed, lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears and understand with their heart and turn, and I would heal them.’

But blessed are your eyes, for they see, and your ears, for they hear.  For truly, I say to you, many prophets and righteous people longed to see what you see, and did not see it, and to hear what you hear, and did not hear it.” Matthew 13:10-17

For those who are lost, who have never heard the voice of the Lord, or felt his presence, we must pray that they repent and turn to God.  We want none to be lost.  Only the Lord can change the heart, and make them receptive to receive the love and reconciliation of God through the blood of Jesus.

Jesus said:

“No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him. And I will raise him up on the last day.  It is written in the Prophets, ‘And they will all be taught by God.’ Everyone who has heard and learned from the Father comes to me— not that anyone has seen the Father except he who is from God; he has seen the Father.  Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes has eternal life.”  John 6:44-47

 So we pray that the Father draws them to Jesus.  And this is another important truthabout coming to the Lord:

“Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.’”  John 14:6

So it is not through our own righteousness, our good works, or through anyone else that we come to the Father, but only through Jesus.  He is truly the only way to the Father.  He is the truth.  To know him is to know truth.  To be without him is to be in utter darkness.  To know him is to have life–eternal life.  To not know him is to be eternally separated from God and all that is good.  Without knowing him, we are destined to hell.

There is no reason why people need to feel that they are overlooked, or left out.  Everyone needs to come to the Lord now, while there is still breath in their bodies.

“For he says, ‘In the time of my favor I heard you, and in the day of salvation I helped you.’ I tell you, now is the time of God’s favor, now is the day of salvation.”  2 Corinthians 6:2

So please, do not harden your heart.  The Lord says to us this day, as he said long ago in the book of revelation:

“Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline. So be earnest and repent.  Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him and he with me. To the one who is victorious, I will give the right to sit with me on my throne, just as I was victorious and sat down with my Father on his throne.  Whoever has ears, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.”  Revelation 3:19-22

God loves you as he loves all people. He died once for all. And his gift of life is free for us, but it cost him a great deal.  The way we receive life, is to receive him.  It is through the belief that Jesus is not only the Son of God, but he is God himself.  Jesus is both man and God, part of a Trinity, a triune God made of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.  Three persons yet one.

“If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.  For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.”  Romans 10:9-10

So if you have not come to Jesus to receive salvation, if you have not prayed for the Lord to forgive your sins and reconcile you to the Father, then please pray with  me today—right now.

“Dear Jesus,

I come to you this day, acknowledging that you are the Son of God.  That you died on the cross for my sins.  Your blood that you shed on the cross purchased my salvation.  You died so that I might live.  Your perfect sacrifice, paid a debt that I could not pay.  No other sacrifice, or good deed could ever cleanse me from my sins and unrighteousness.  Only your precious blood can take away my sin.  I ask Lord, that you forgive me for all the sins that I have committed in my life, either by my actions or in my thoughts or the words that I have expressed.  I ask that you make me a new creation in you, that the past is gone and all things are made new.  Thank you for taking away my guilt and shame, that you place me in right standing with you and the Father.

I ask that you write my name in the Book of LIfe.  Help me to live for you.  Use me as you see fit.  Draw me to yourself, that I will become close to you.  Lord, make me your child, a child of God.  I long to please you.  Lord, fill me with your Holy Spirit who will lead me into all truth.  And baptize me with fire and the Holy Spirit, that I will have the power to overcome the flesh and live victoriously in you!  Thank you Jesus, make me one with you as you are in the Father and the Father is in you.  Thank you for the Holy Spirit that we are one in spirit.

Thank you for your salvation, and the gift of eternal life.  I am yours and you are mine.  Thank you Jesus, Thank you Father, Thank you Holy Spirit I will always remember this day!

I am born again, born of the Spirit of God!  Hallelujah!  Amen!

I hope you will share this post with those who need to know Jesus.  God bless you and keep you in his love!
