"Its Time to Go Upstairs"

Hi Friends,

I am writing today about nine visions that the Lord had given me recently.  These visions came back to back within minutes of each other, so I believe that they together comprise one basic message.

The Visions

A Young Tiger

In this vision I saw a young tiger cub standing on its hind legs with its front paws on a glass window which I am presuming was at a zoo.  It was looking through the glass to see the world beyond his own habitat.  He looked on for a moment or two and then got down and ran away.

I was reminded of the scripture about prophets and angels wanting “to look into these things…”

“Concerning this salvation, the prophets, who spoke of the grace that was to come to you, searched intently and with the greatest care, trying to find out the time and circumstances to which the Spirit of Christ in them was pointing when he predicted the sufferings of the Messiah and the glories that would follow.  It was revealed to them that they were not serving themselves but you, when they spoke of the things that have now been told you by those who have preached the gospel to you by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven.  Even angels long to look into these things.”   1 Peter 1:10-12

Daniel was one such prophet who was given information about the end times.  We read these passages today, over and over searching for anything that may answer our questions about when that time will come.  Daniel was told many things about the events that would take place during the time we call the Great Tribulation.  These you will find in the 12th chapter in the Book of Daniel, in the Bible.  But he was told:

“Go your way, Daniel, because the words are closed up and sealed until the time of the end.  Many will be purified, made spotless and refined, but the wicked will continue to be wicked.  None of the wicked will understand.  From the time that the daily sacrifice is abolished and the abomination that causes desolation is set up, there will be 1,290 days.  Blessed is the one who waits for and reaches the end of the 1,335 days.  As for you, go your way till the end.  You will rest, and then at the end of the days you will rise to receive your allotted inheritance.”  Daniel 12:9-13

We understand by the scriptures from the Old Testament prophets like Daniel, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel and Zechariah, and the New Testament writings of Paul, Matthew, Luke, Peter and John and others, that together they express the will of God for us.  The Lord wants us to search out the scriptures and seek his face in prayer to understand his will and his plans for all creation.  As born again believers, we are blessed to carry within us the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Truth that will lead us, guide us and reveal to us truth and the heart of God.  “Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.”  Jeremiah 33:3

A Clear Film

In the second vision, I saw a translucent, softly stretchy film shaped as a dome.  The air surrounding the film caused it to float above the flat surface which resembled a sheet of wrapping paper, colored in various pastels.  Somehow, I believed the softly stretchy clear film was to represent the separation of the heavenlies: the atmosphere just above the earth, and the spiritual realm. The multi-colored pastel flat surface that looked like wrapping paper, I believe was to represent the earth below.

My view of the flat surface was from above the film.  The Lord wants us to see things as he sees them from above.  But this translucent film kept me from seeing the full reality of what was below.

“For we know in part and we prophesy in part, but when completeness comes, what is in part disappears.”  1 Corinthians 13:9-10

And “For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.”  1 Corinthians 13:12

Years ago, the Lord gave me a dream of persecution in the end times. Just as I could not see any details through the clear film, in this vision I was only allowed to see the cover and title of two books. The third book’s cover and title were unseen.  Let me share that vision with you briefly:

No Exit

In this dream, I received just over 20 years ago, I saw myself seated on my bed.  I held my study Bible in my lap.  I knew that it would be dangerous to carry it with me, so I placed the Bible in an upright position on my night table.  I grabbed my tiny New Testament and placed it in my purse.  Then I grabbed three books and placed the stack in my lap.  I looked at the cover of the first book entitled “Huis Clo” which means “No Exit.”  It was a book written by a French existentialist named Jean-Paul Sartre.  An existential belief is that one makes his heaven or hell on earth.  While still in the vision, I thought about the Tribulation, that it will certainly be a hell on earth.  For as scripture says, “In those days men will seek death and will not find it; they will long to die, but death will escape them.”  Revelation 9:6

Continuing in the dream, I placed that book aside, and saw the second book.  On the cover was a dark scene of rows and rows of short crosses with people’s bodies crucified with their knees bent under them.  The crosses and the bodies were completely charred.  In the background of the scene was a palace, I thought might be Versailles.  Below the scene at the lower edge of the cover was the title which read:  “Those Left Behind”.  This was several years before the “Left Behind” series of books had come out.  While still in the dream, I thought to myself, “These must be the people killed during the holocaust.”

There was another book below this book, but I did not see its cover or title.  I place these three books in front of my Bible on my nightstand.  Then the dream ended.

By this dream, I believed that I would personally experience the persecution that was to come, and that the Tribulation would take place in my lifetime.

Gnats and Black Birds

In the third vision, I saw a swarm of gnats right in front of me.  I looked up and saw several black birds flying above me, high in the sky.  Wherever there are gnats, there is something rotting like an over ripened banana.  And wherever there are birds circling overhead, there is a dead animal below.  Thinking about this vision, I thought of a scripture: “Where there is a dead body, there the vultures gather.”  Luke 17:37

These were Jesus’ words in response to a question concerning the end time.  He had been speaking about the rapture: “one will be taken and the other left.”  The disciples asked, “Where Lord?”  The Lord rather than answering the question of “where will they go?”  He spoke of the ones left behind:“Where there is a dead body, there the vultures gather.”  Luke 17:37

In an earlier scripture, Jesus invited a man to follow him.  “Follow me.” But he replied, “Lord, first let me go and bury my father.”  But Jesus told him, “Let the dead bury their own dead. You, however, go and proclaim the kingdom of God.”  Luke 9:59-60

We see that the Lord referred to unbelievers as “the dead,” for they are spiritually dead, not having been “born again” and “made alive in Christ.”

In another scripture, we see that those that die in battle and are left unburied on the open ground become a feast for the birds of the air.  “Then I saw an angel standing in the sun, and he cried out in a loud voice to all the birds flying overhead, “Come, gather together for the great supper of God, so that you may eat the flesh of kings and commanders and mighty men, of horses and riders, of everyone slave and free, small and great.”  Revelation 19:17-18

This vision of the gnats and black birds speaks of the spiritually dead, those left behind to experience the wrath of God through the Tribulation.  Those that rebel against God will face him in the Battle of Armageddon.  They will be destroyed and their flesh will be given to the birds of the air.

This vision is given as a warning that we must reach the lost right now, for those who have heard the gospel message and have hardened their hearts toward God will not be given another chance during the Tribulation.  (Some dispute this idea, but it is better to be safe than sorry.)

The coming of the lawless one is by the activity of Satan with all power and false signs and wonders,  and with all wicked deception for those who are perishing, because they refused to love the truth and so be saved.  Therefore God sends them a strong delusion, so that they may believe what is false,  in order that all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.”   2 Thessalonians 2:9-12

The  Woman at the Blackboard

In this fourth vision, I see a woman at a blackboard busily writing and drawing.  She is attempting to figure out a problem, or create a plan, or propose an explanation.  I believe that the woman represents the church.  Many people at this time are looking at the events of the last several years and are attempting to explain, demonstrate and list the things that the Bible gives as indications that we are in the end times.

“So also, when you see all these things, you will know that He is near, right at the door.  Truly I tell you, this generation will not pass away until all these things have happened.” Matthew 24:33-34

Also “When these things begin to happen, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.”  Luke 21:28

The woman, representing the church, is just like the disciples of the Lord’s day who came to him to ask him about the end times:  “Tell us,” they said, “when will these things happen, and what will be the sign of Your coming and of the end of the age?”  Matthew 24:3  The answer is found in chapter 24 of Matthew and chapter 21 in Luke.  Here is a quick list of those end time events:

  • Wars and rumors of wars,

  • famines, earthquakes, pestilence,

  • persecution of believers,

  • the great falling away from the faith,

  • people will hate and betray one another,

  • false Christs and false prophets will perform great signs and miracles to deceive,

  • the increase in wickedness,

  • love will grow cold,

  • the gospel will be preached in the entire world,

  • the abomination that causes desolation standing in the holy place

  • armies will surround Jerusalem,

  • signs in the sun moon and stars, and the heavenly bodies will be shaken.

Both Matthew and Luke quote Jesus as saying:

“Even so when you see these things happening you know that the kingdom of God is near.  I tell you the truth, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened.  Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.”  Luke 21:31-33

A Man Tumbling

In the fifth vision, I saw a young man making a tumbling pass.  He was in an unusual position with his knees and elbows bent, and held close to the body.  But he appeared to be performing a cartwheel-like move, facing sideways.  He is quite low to the ground tumbling on sand or dirt. He stops and gets up and says, “I’m not hurt.”

I believe that the man in the vision represents mankind who does not know the Lord Jesus, nor understands the cross, or accepts his gift of salvation.  The man is going his own way.  By his posture, we know that he is not “upright.”  He performs his tumbling pass in the dirt or in the sand.  This indicates that his way is a way a sin (dirt) and he is unstable in his ways (sand shifts underfoot).

He gets up and announces that he was not hurt.  This indicates that in some manner, either others expected him to get hurt, or he believed that in all likelihood he would hurt himself.  The sad thing is that he does not realize that by going his own way, that he is missing out on a relationship with the Lord, and that eternal punishment is awaiting those who refuse to commit to following him.

Even believers can fall away from God, or get distracted by the cares of this world.  The Lord wants us to carry the ball all the way to the end of the game.  Jesus said:

“Be faithful, even to the point of death, and I will give you the crown of life.  He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.  He who overcomes will not be hurt at all by the second death.”  Revelation 2:10-11

The man in the vision believes that because he does not experience (hurt) judgment right now, that he is in the clear.  He does not realize that someday he will face judgment and he will experience eternal pain and suffering.  Let’s pray for the lost, for they are deceived.  Only the Lord can remove the blinders and open their eyes to the truth.

Rows of People Seated

In the sixth vision, I saw from an aerial view, many rows of seating (perhaps 10 - 12 rows).  There were perhaps 20 or so people in each row.  I could see the people in the first and third rows stand up and turn to their right.   They walked single file off to the right, leaving the remainder of the people in their chairs.

I believe this vision concerns the rapture of the church.  The rows  of seats represent an assembly of people, as in a church.  In the Bible we see that it is only true believers that will be taken.  Everyone else that is unprepared, “without oil in their lamps” will be left.  This is a very sober teaching of Jesus.  In so many passages, Jesus teaches that only those who know him and are faithful to the end will be saved.  In one parable he states, “Many are called but few are chosen.”  Matthew 22:14

The Lord teaches with parables so that some may hear and understand and those who do not have ears to hear will continue to go their own way.  This parable, though, was understood by the Pharisees of his day and upon hearing it they left and began to plot his demise.

“The kingdom of heaven is like a king who prepared a wedding banquet for his son. He sent his servants to call those he had invited to the banquet, but they refused to come.

Again, he sent other servants and said, ‘Tell those who have been invited that I have prepared my dinner. My oxen and fattened cattle have been killed, and everything is ready. Come to the wedding banquet.’

But they paid no attention and went away, one to his field, another to his business. The rest seized his servants, mistreated them, and killed them.

The king was enraged, and he sent his troops to destroy those murderers and burn their city. Then he said to his servants, ‘The wedding banquet is ready, but those I invited were not worthy. Go therefore to the crossroads and invite to the banquet as many as you can find.’

So the servants went out into the streets and gathered everyone they could find, both evil and good, and the wedding hall was filled with guests.

But when the king came in to see the guests, he spotted a man who was not dressed in wedding clothes. ‘Friend,’ he asked, ‘how did you get in here without wedding clothes?’

But the man was speechless.

Then the king told the servants, ‘Tie him hand and foot, and throw him into the outer darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’

For many are called, but few are chosen.”  Matthew 22:1-14

Jesus was speaking of the people he was sent to save.  These were the Israelites, God’s chosen people who unfortunately for them, did not respect him as king.  Not wanting to hear the good news of the Gospel, to repent, to believe and be saved, they instead killed the prophets that were sent to them.  The Pharisees understood that this parable was about them so they were offended and went away to plot against him.   But even so, Jesus continued to teach those whose hearts were open and hungry to learn more.

As the church we need to also be familiar with the parable of the ten virgins, for the virgins represent the church.  And as you will see, five were prepared to meet the bridegroom and five were not ready.  As it is today, some believers are ready and some are not.

“At that time the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom.  Five of them were foolish and five were wise.  The foolish ones took their lamps but did not take any oil with them.  The wise ones, however, took oil in jars along with their lamps.  The bridegroom was a long time in coming, and they all became drowsy and fell asleep.

“At midnight the cry rang out: ‘Here’s the bridegroom! Come out to meet him!’

“Then all the virgins woke up and trimmed their lamps.  The foolish ones said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil; our lamps are going out.’

“‘No,’ they replied, ‘there may not be enough for both us and you. Instead, go to those who sell oil and buy some for yourselves.’

“But while they were on their way to buy the oil, the bridegroom arrived. The virgins who were ready went in with him to the wedding banquet. And the door was shut.

“Later the others also came. ‘Lord, Lord,’ they said, ‘open the door for us!’

“But he replied, ‘Truly I tell you, I don’t know you.’

“Therefore keep watch, because you do not know the day or the hour.  Matthew 25:1-13

In my vision only 2 rows, out of the 10 or so rows of people, stood up and walked to the right.  The direction right usually means walking with God, or doing what is right.  The others were left seated; they were left behind. That is what will happen at the time when the Lord comes for the Church, his bride. At the time of the rapture, the Lord will take those who are prepared and have been waiting for him.  The others that have been too busy with their life concerns and priorities are to be left behind.  It is because they considered everything else more important, that they never took the time to know him. That is why the bridegroom said, “Truly I tell you, I don’t know you.”

If you want to read more about the rapture of the church, you can find it  in the 24th chapter of Matthew, the 21st chapter of Luke, and the 4th chapter of 1 Thessalonians.

The Electric Wave

In the seventh vision, I saw an electrical current coming from a single source with five or so branches in various directions.  The light appeared to be blue.  Considering the other visions having to do with the rapture, end times and the Lord’s second coming, I was reminded of the passage of scripture when Jesus spoke of his coming as being visible across the sky like lightning.  “For just as the lightning comes from the east and flashes as far as the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.”  Matthew 24:27

The color blue is significant too, for it can represent God or godliness.  These visions are truly pointing to end time events.  Even though it can be terrifying, it can also be something very exciting.  Maranatha!  Come Lord Jesus!

Two Men and an Airplane

In the eighth vision, I saw two men who were seated in a two-seat open air airplane, one directly in front of the other.  Since the majority of these visions seemed to be speaking of end times, I questioned the Lord about these two men.  I thought that perhaps they were the two witnesses spoken of in the Book of Revelation.  The two witnesses will come from heaven, as they will have been sent by the Lord and given great authority and spiritual power.  They will be able to shut up the heavens to keep it from raining on the earth while they are prophesying.  They will have the power to turn the waters into blood and strike the earth with every kind of plague.  In the Bible they are referred to as “the two olive trees and the two lampstands that stand before the Lord of the earth.”  Revelation 11:4

Notice that these two olive stands and lampstand are also spoken of in the Book of Zechariah:

“Then I asked the angel, ‘What are these two olive trees on the right and the left of the lampstand?  Again I asked him, “What are these two olive branches beside the two gold pipes that pour out golden oil?”

He replied, “Do you not know what these are?”

“No, my lord,” I said.

So he said, “These are the two who are anointed to serve the Lord of all the earth.” Zechariah 4:11-14

In the vision, the men are in an airplane.  The airplane shows that they have power over the earth.  They see from God’s vantage point for they have been sent by God.  Elijah is to come in preparation for the Lord’s second coming.  John the Baptist, was a type of Elijah, who came in the power of Elijah to prepare the way for the Lord in his first coming.  Elijah was taken into heaven without dying a natural death, so he will return from heaven to earth to prepare the earth’s people with the Lord’s second coming.  Elijah had prayed to shut up the heavens to keep it from raining and should it be that Elijah returns as one the the two witnesses, he will have the power to shut up the heavens once more.  (I must also note that it is from an airplane “seeding,” the clouds that rain can be produced.)

Moses could possibly be the other witness, for it was he, as the Lord’s prophet, who saw the Lord bring upon Egypt the ten plagues.  The second witness along with the first, will call down terrible plagues upon the people, during the time of the Tribulation.  We do not know who these two witnesses will be, but with the vision of the men in the airplane, I believe, the Lord is showing us that we may see the end coming very soon.

A Tall Woman

In the last and ninth vision, I saw a woman step out from behind a wall or panel.  She stood directly in front of me, without engaging me directly.  She looked straight ahead and declared her message:  “It’s time to go upstairs.”

She was tall with her hair pulled back tightly, perhaps in a bun or french twist, I couldn’t tell since she was facing forward.  She wore a white long sleeved top and a full length skirt that sparkled with pastel colors, pink, turquoise, salmon, and aqua.  I believe that she was probably an angel, since angels are messengers.  I know that angels are neither male nor female, since they are spiritual beings.  Yet, in most of my visions they appear as men.  But what is most important is the message itself.  “It’s time to go upstairs.”

Could this be an announcement about the rapture that it will be coming soon?  I have had many visions such as an angel with a trumpet, reminding me of the last trumpet.

“Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed— in an instant, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.  For the perishable must be clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality.  When the perishable puts on the imperishable, and the mortal puts on immortality, then shall come to pass the saying that is written: “Death is swallowed up in victory.”  “Where, O Death, is your victory? Where, O Death, is your sting?”  1 Corinthians 15:51-55

I had another vision concerning the rapture several years ago:

An Angel - He is Risen

I saw an angel holding a sign in front of himself, which read “He is risen.”  He then took the sign and knelt down, placing the sign so it stood upright on the ground.  Holding the top two  corners of the sign, he pulled his hands apart, splitting the sign into two pieces.  The words “He is” was on his right and the word “risen” was on his left.  He then stood up and someone handed him a  bag with its top edge folded down twice to conceal its contents.  Even though I did not see into the bag, I somehow knew that the bag contained the names of people who would be raptured.

He held the bag by its two corners and lowered himself to the floor.  He placed the bag between the gap where the sign had been split in two.  I believe that by this, the Lord was showing me the promise, that just as He had risen from the dead, all the people that have died in Christ will also rise from the dead, along with us who are still living.  We will all be caught up together with him to be with the Lord in the air!  That is what the rapture is all about!  Being with Christ for all eternity, and to be changed, and clothed with immortality!  That will truly be an exciting moment!

“Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope.  For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him.  According to the Lord’s word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep.  For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first.  After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever.”  1 Thessalonians 4: 13-17

This is the message that all nine visions bring:  Jesus is coming soon.  He is coming for the Church and for those who have died in Christ.  The Tribulation will soon be evident.  Whether you believe in the pre-tribulation rapture or the mid-tribulation rapture or a rapture that immediately precedes the Lord’s second coming, is all debatable, but He is coming at a time that know one knows except the Father.  So this is a warning:  Get ready - He is coming soon!

Please share this message with those you love, and with everyone who has breath!  We want no one to go to hell!

“May the Lord bless you and keep you; may the Lord cause His face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; may the Lord lift up His countenance toward you and give you peace.”  Numbers 6:24-26
