A Nation Going Its Own Way

Hi Friends,

Today I am writing about three visions the Lord gave me over a week ago. Visions are one way in which the Lord will express his thoughts to us.  He may give me scenes or vignettes that mean something to me.  And in speaking to you, he may use different pictures or even other means to express the very same thought.  We are unique individuals coming from a variety of backgrounds and having different life experiences, so the Lord will speak to each of us in a way that we can understand.

The Visions

A Can and Bottle Opener

The first vision is of a kitchen tool that is both a can opener and a bottle opener.  The most prominent feature of this opener is a spear at one end.  When I first saw this vision, I was reminded of several passages in scripture where the people of God were instructed to beat their plowshares into weapons of war.  And other times when they were to beat their spears into pruning hooks.  The idea conveyed is that there is a time for peace and a time for war.  So the questions that arise are these: What time are we now in?  Are we to prepare for war?  Will there be a time of peace?  What is happening right now of which we should be made aware?

Judging by what is going on in the world right now, we see that many nations are preparing for war.  Ukraine is receiving some military aid from the US, and other nations to stave off a military conflict with Russia.  However some believe that Russia wants no military conflict and would prefer to control the portion of Ukraine where there are people who consider themselves to be Russian.

We see Taiwan preparing to defend itself from Chinese aggression.  The Chinese have been flying military aircraft in Taiwanese airspace for weeks now.  China would like to annex Taiwan to mainland China as they did with Hong Kong.  They value Taiwan for a number of reasons, one of which stands out in my view. Taiwan produces 80% of the world’s microchips necessary to run every computer, every cell phone and every car, truck and device that runs with the aid of computers.   China would love to take ownership of this essential industry.  By controlling the supply of computer chips, it could displace America as the number one economy and the number one military power.  America already is compromised by Chinese ideology, propaganda, and an economy which is inter-dependent on China for its supply of steel, and manufactured products.  Taiwan wants the US to commit to aiding her if attacked.

In addition to Russia and China, there is an ongoing, and never-ending conflict in the Middle East between Israel and the Muslim nations that surround her.  Iran, the major player in the conflict, has its proxies well equipped and stationed around  Israel.  Iran, as we all know, has been continuously working on enriching its supply of uranium necessary to produce a nuclear bomb.  Israel is determined to stop Iran from achieving this goal.  America has abandoned Israel.  Our leaders have decided to withhold mid-air refueling aircraft from Israel until 2024.  Why?  If America turns its back on Israel there will be ramifications - Woe to us!

All these aggressive nations who are building up their military arsenals, and preparing for war are a sign of end-time events as I see it.

While Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately. “Tell us,” they said, “when will these things happen, and what will be the sign of Your coming and of the end of the age?”

Jesus answered, “See to it that no one deceives you. For many will come in My name, claiming, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many. You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. These things must happen, but the end is still to come.

Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of birth pains.

  Matthew 24:3-8

We see that there are wars and rumors of wars just about to begin.  These signs are birth pains, “but the end is still to come.”  Even if we do not appreciate these as signs to indicate the nearing of end times, we are encouraged by scripture to live in great anticipation of the Lord’s return, for the Lord said that no one knows the day or hour of his return.  And we are to live as people ready to meet the Lord.

“No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. As it was in the days of Noah, so will it be at the coming of the Son of Man.  For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark. And they were oblivious, until the flood came and swept them all away. So will it be at the coming of the Son of Man. Two men will be in the field: one will be taken and the other left. Two women will be grinding at the mill: one will be taken and the other left.

“Therefore keep watch, because you do not know the day on which your Lord will come. But understand this: If the homeowner had known in which watch of the night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into. For this reason, you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour you do not expect.”  Matthew 24:36-44

As children of God, we are to be ready.  We are to be watchmen on the wall, anticipating the Lord and ready to open the door for him when he comes.  As watchmen, we are also to look out for our enemy - the enemy of our souls - the devil.  We are to be prepared at all times to resist the devil.

“Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.  Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings.  And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast. To him be the power for ever and ever. Amen.”  1 Peter 5:8-11

So whether there are wars, rumors of wars, or we see the destructive power of the enemy of our souls, we need to be watchful, and remain hopeful in anticipation of the Lord’s return.

A PIck Up Truck

The next two visions came back to back with little separation in time, so I believe that they are meant to be interpreted together.  The first vision of this couplet was of a pickup truck jumping over a short wall and immediately diving into the dirt.  His spinning tires dug into the soil so quickly that he simply disappeared below the ground.  When I saw this vision, I thought of the small creatures on the beach that are merely a ¼” - 3/8” in size.  When ocean waves wash up onto the shore, they expose these tiny shell creatures or “coquinas.”  No sooner are they exposed, then they quickly dig their way back into the sand, covering themselves, and bracing for the next wave.

It seems as if the coquinas’ work is futile.  Yet, they have no time to consider futility.  They hide in the sand to evade their predators.  Their simple lives are all about survival.  Before discussing the vision’s meaning, let me introduce the next vision:

Hair

The vision that immediately followed the pickup truck showed a close-up view of skin on the arm or leg.  I noticed that the hair on the skin was raised.  When I began to contemplate the meaning of the vision of body hair, I thought of the descriptive words: “hair-raising.”  These words usually describe something that causes great fear or dread, thrills or excitement.  But because I believe that the two visions are meant to be interpreted together, the idea that both visions describe is fear.  I believe that it is fear at a most basic level - that of survival.

I believe that the vision of the truck digging itself into the sand represents people who are trying to escape and to hide from what they believe could challenge their very lives and their livelihoods.  The fear of death and the fear of great personal loss is real.   It motivates people to take action.

In the vision, the truck was able to do what no real truck could do: jump over a short wall and dig into the dirt with its spinning wheels and completely bury itself.  This truck was obviously highly motivated to get away from whatever was the perceived danger.

Some people are terrified of Covid, or the Coronavirus.  Some are so gripped with fear that they are afraid to leave their homes.  They wear triple masks, and insist that anyone who comes near them must be vaccinated, or have proof that they are covid free.

Desperate people do desperate things.  Some are so fearful that they keep loved ones far from them and avoid funerals, weddings and family events.  They are prisoners of their own fears.

There are even more people afraid, not of the virus, and not of dying, but are afraid of the increased crime in our cities, inflation, social unrest and loss of personal freedoms.  Some are afraid that they will lose their jobs and businesses because of the vaccine mandates and more lockdowns.  They are afraid that the nation that they have loved will never be the same, and that we will all be under the rule of dictators and oligarchs.

The fear of big government and woke corporations is genuine and real.  I believe that it began long before Trump came into office.  But when he became the 45th president, the media, and entrenched life-time politicians developed a strong case of “Trump-itis.”  Their incessant groaning and complaining about Trump caused this “fever” to  spread to every corner of our nation.  This man-made fear was fueled by money that backed events such as the riots in the cities, the corruption in government, manipulation of the vote, the Corona Virus, the lockdowns and mask mandates, the loss of jobs, businesses, the illegal use of government agencies to target political enemies, and the loss of our Constitutionally guaranteed freedoms.  Many who have committed treasonous acts have never been held accountable while the innocent have been placed behind bars.  The Department of Justice no longer exists to seek truth and justice with equality and without respect to race or political persuasion.  So because of these threats to peace, health, safety, justice and freedom, there are many people trying to flee.

These people are fearful of more draconian measures being taken by corrupt politicians and very large corporations that threaten the freedoms that we once took for granted.  Many people are fleeing to the Red states hoping that the champions for freedom in these states will protect them from the overreach of government and the vaccine mandates.

Without the Lord, one could see how easy it is to become fearful.  If one’s mind is continually fed a diet of fear by the mainstream media, then fear and anxiety are going to take root.  Creating news that is threatening and sensational helps them to achieve their goals. They do their best to push their agenda and keep people on edge.  The goal for them is to create chaos and unrest.  They want  no borders because they are globalists.  They want to create a uniform society that is void of national loyalties, and void of faith.  They want people to become dependent upon the government rather than to be self-sufficient.

They want people to be detached from their faith and their beliefs concerning morality.  They do not want anyone to judge and condemn their actions as amoral. No, they want everyone to embrace the globalistic ideals.  Their primary goals are to create fearful and submissive subjects who are obedient and faithful to the global agenda and to the preservation of the planet.  They believe that everything and everyone should support the values that they espouse, and any idea to the contrary should be squelched.

It is a communist agenda, one that places the ruling class above every other citizen.  They want to rid themselves of the middle class because the ability to be self-sufficient and self-determining is a threat to the workings of a socialist/communist state.  The individual’s freedom to choose for himself, doesn’t work with this system.

There is an underlying agenda hidden to many, but exists nonetheless, for the reduction of the planet’s population.  Some see the earth as small and finite, incapable of supporting life for many.  They believe that there is an ideal number of people suited for life on this planet.  Abortion, wars, plagues and famine are one way to deal with this “excess population.”  And the transgender/gay/lesbian lifestyle is encouraged to become “normal and commonly accepted”  because it inhibits procreation.

There is a universal attempt by government leaders around the world to enforce lockdowns and vaccine passports. The God-less world we live in reduces a person to a number.  Those who hold to the world’s view use lies and narratives to create the illusion of a truth they would like others to believe.   “Truth,” to them, is only how one sees it or how one spins it. The facts and statistics are easily manipulated to fit the narrative they put forth to make a deal, to make money, to influence people or to attain status.  When we see this happening, we know that the devil, or the father of lies, is behind it all.

Jesus, while speaking to the Pharisees, said of the devil:  “Why do you not understand what I am saying? It is because you are unable to accept My message.   You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out his desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, refusing to uphold the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, because he is a liar and the father of lies.  But because I speak the truth, you do not believe Me!

Which of you can prove Me guilty of sin? If I speak the truth, why do you not believe Me? Whoever belongs to God hears the words of God. The reason you do not hear is that you do not belong to God.”  John 8:43-47

Our Christian values are diametrically opposed to the ideology of this global world view.  And we need to get behind the Lord, to seek his will for our nation and the people around us.  We know that the leaders behind this agenda are enemies of all that is good, and true.  However, our job is not to fight them, but to forgive them and pray for them.  That is the will of God.

Look at the following scriptures in light of this message, take it to prayer and see if God will reveal to you what he has revealed to me.

“Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” says the Lord.”  Romans 12:19

Jesus forgave those who spit on him and nailed him to the cross.  It is our job to do the same.  We are to pray for our enemies and those who mistreat us.

“You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’  But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you,  that you may be children of your Father in heaven.  He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.  If you love those who love you, what reward will you get?  Are not even the tax collectors doing that?  And if you greet only your own people, what are you doing more than others?  Do not even pagans do that?  Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.  Matthew 5:43-48

We must see that God’s ways are not our ways.  We think in the here and now; we take matters into our own hands.  But God’s ways are higher than ours–we are to obey him as the ultimate authority.  And in teaching us his ways he will use earthly authorities to discipline us and to show us where we have been unfaithful to him.

“I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.”  1 Timothy 2:1-2

“Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which is from God. The authorities that exist have been appointed by God.”   Romans 13:1

Remind the people to be subject to rulers and authorities, to be obedient, to be ready to do whatever is good, to malign no one, and to be peaceable and gentle, showing full consideration to everyone.  Titus 3:1-2

Our leaders have been placed in power because it was God's will.  The Lord has been trying to help us see the sin in our hearts, so that we can repent and return to him.  The Lord has shown me through multiple visions over the years that his purpose in bringing judgment in hopes that we will recognize our sin and return to him in repentance.  I have a post that shows this clearly.  It is “Judgment, Mercy, Judgment, Mercy…”

Because we have not submitted to the Lord and his authority, he allows difficult leaders to be placed over us.  But for our nation to experience the healing and deliverance that we need, the church must repent of our complacency and lack of submission to God.  If we will not submit to God he will make us learn to submit to our leaders, whether they are incompetent, self-serving, heartless, or wicked.

If I close the sky so there is no rain, or if I command the locust to devour the land, or if I send a plague among my people, if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”  2 Chronicles 7:13-14

You can see that yes, God can send destruction our way if he is trying to get us to notice our sin.  And he loves us so he gives us a way to receive his forgiveness, healing and deliverance - seeking him with a repentant heart.  We (the church) must turn from OUR wicked ways and then He will hear our prayer, forgive our sin and heal our nation or our land.

It is not in complaining about our circumstances and blaming others for our nation’s woes, that things change.  The ball is in the Church’s court.  It is our turn to make a move.  It is up to us to seek God, and to TURN FROM OUR WICKED WAYS.   Only then will we see the Lord move upon our nation, and turn the hearts of our leaders to God.  Or change our leadership if they fail to repent.  Let us not condemn our leaders, not when it is the will of God that all would be saved.  This is good and pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.  1Timothy 2:3-4

Do I take any pleasure in the death of the wicked? declares the Lord GOD. Wouldn't I prefer that he turn from his ways and live?  Ezekiel 18:23
Unless we pray and partner with God to support his agenda, the world will be lost.  We must be aware that even though we see wicked people all around us who are trying to throw our nation into chaos, we are not to condemn them, but to pray for them.

And those with whom we agree, who represent the viewpoint that we hold as true, we are not to look upon them as if they will be our savior, or our deliverer.  We are not to rest our hopes on an individual, or on a movement.  We are to place our hope and trust in the Lord, not in people.

I know that  many Christians were praying for President Trump to get re-elected.  But because of the vision that the Lord gave me years before, I knew that the White House would no longer represent good, but evil.  So even though many people predicted that he would win by a landslide, I believed that he would not be re-elected.  If you would like to read that vision, I posted it under the title, “Present Day Judgment of End Time Events”  10 days following that vision, I heard these words spoken: “15 were killed on the lawn today.”  Immediately, I knew that this terrible event would take place on the White House lawn.  After Biden was sworn into office, I began to believe that he would be that evil presence.  I see that he has no backbone, but like a trained dog, he follows his instructions as best as his mind allows.

What I believe to be imperative at this point in time, as a Christian, we are to hold fast to God and to nothing else.  We are not to expect great things coming from the next election.  Even though our favorite politicians might be elected, and all may seem ready to return to “normal.”  That is not God’s desire.  It is not God’s desire for us to return to a time of financial security.  It is not his desire for us to become complacent in our faith once again.  For we can easily take on the attitudes of the rich man in the Lord’s parable.

Watch out! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; life does not consist in an abundance of possessions.”

And he told them this parable: “The ground of a certain rich man yielded an abundant harvest.  He thought to himself, ‘What shall I do? I have no place to store my crops.’

“Then he said, ‘This is what I’ll do. I will tear down my barns and build bigger ones, and there I will store my surplus grain.  And I’ll say to myself, “You have plenty of grain laid up for many years. Take life easy; eat, drink and be merry.”’

“But God said to him, ‘You fool! This very night your life will be demanded from you. Then who will get what you have prepared for yourself?’

“This is how it will be with whoever stores up things for themselves but is not rich toward God.”  Luke 12:15-21

We need to value what the Lord values, and it is not our financial success, and our comforts, our vacations, our pleasures and pastimes.  Let’s look at this conversation the Lord had with another wealthy man:

And as he was setting out on his journey, a man ran up and knelt before him and asked him, “Good Teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?”  And Jesus said to him, “Why do you call me good? No one is good except God alone.  You know the commandments: ‘Do not murder, Do not commit adultery, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Do not defraud, Honor your father and mother.’”  And he said to him, “Teacher, all these I have kept from my youth.”  And Jesus, looking at him, loved him, and said to him, “You lack one thing: go, sell all that you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me.”  Disheartened by the saying, he went away sorrowful, for he had great possessions.

And Jesus looked around and said to his disciples, “How difficult it will be for those who have wealth to enter the kingdom of God!”  And the disciples were amazed at his words. But Jesus said to them again, “Children, how difficult it is to enter the kingdom of God!  It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter the kingdom of God.”  And they were exceedingly astonished, and said to him, “Then who can be saved?” Jesus looked at them and said, “With man it is impossible, but not with God. For all things are possible with God.”  Mark 10:17-21

It is the self-sufficiency and independence of his people that angers the Lord.  The Lord spoke to me one day saying “I keep my angels around you, but you go your own way.”

I do not want to cause the Lord to be disappointed in me or even angry with me for “going my own way.”  But we, his church, are always going astray–going where we are told not to go, or doing something he did not want us to do.  Being independent from God is rebellion.  It is in effect saying, “I want to do this myself anyway!”  “I know you told me to do this but I felt that I had to do it another way.”

We cannot forget that we are not our own; we belong to God.  We are his.

Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.”  1 Corinthians 6:19-20

When things go wrong, often it is the fruit of sin, and unfaithfulness that have brought about trouble.  It is very possible that our complacency and lack of faith have been instrumental in bringing about the woes that our nation has experienced these past two years.  God did not leave us.  We as a nation have turned our backs on him.  So now we see our circumstances for what they are to God.  It is rebellion to “go our own way, and live as if God does not matter.  We must seek the Lord and repent of our waywardness and our lukewarm attitudes towards him.

I hope I have been successful in relaying this message.  The ball is in our court.  What will we believers do?  Can we stand in the gap for our nation and its leaders?  Can we intercede and see a change in the direction of our country?  Can we see a revival and a return to the Lord for our nation?  If we don’t pray for the nation, then we have failed our fellowman, the church and our Lord and Savior, Jesus the Messiah, the Christ.

Let us do our job and be faithful in prayer, praying without ceasing and believing God to move on our behalf.  We declare our love to you Jesus!  Save our leaders, our citizens, and our world.  You are God and there is no other!  Hallelujah!  Amen!!

Please share this post with others who share your interest. We all people everywhere to understand the will of God. We want everyone to know that if we seek the Lord he will reveal himself to us. “You will seek me and will find me, when you seek me with all your heart.” Jeremiah 29:13

God bless you! And remember- Fear Not! Trust in Him!

“Trust in the Lord your God, and not lean upon your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him and he will direct your paths!”  Proverbs 3:5-6
