Bless and Do Not Curse

Hi Friends,
Today I want to address what the Lord is showing me about the changes we are seeing in our nation. There is no doubt that we are already seeing what will become broad sweeping changes made by the new administration. We are expecting that there will be challenges to the freedoms that we have until now taken for granted. Every generation has a responsibility to defend our Constitution as it was written, and to protect our God-given rights as listed in the Bill of Rights. We must be vigilant, for the people in our government and people of influence have ideologies that threaten the existence of these God given rights. We must protect the right of free speech, the right to assemble, the right to petition the government for redress of grievances, the right to carry arms, and the right to practice our faith without hindrance.
The visions the Lord has given me recently give warning that the days ahead will be wicked. Yet in spite of the future difficulties, we must remain faithfully committed to the Lord and pray without ceasing.
The Visions
The first message is not really a vision, but a quiet voice speaking the words: “Running off and Chasing away.”
I had described in my last post of visions entitled, “Bondage and Freedom,” that we were to flee temptation but resist the devil. These I likened to the flight or fight response to stress. Running off and chasing away are very similar to this stress response. When we experience danger, we can run to avoid calamity, or we can choose to fight, or to chase a predator away.
Since the attack on the Capitol Building, apprehension is growing. Some people are speaking of “running off” to a “red state,” where livelihoods and personal freedoms are respected. Censorship, lock-downs, and the wildly unconstitutional ideas put forth by liberals, and now executive orders of the new president are absolutely alarming.
So while some want to run, others want to stay and fight. In California, there are those who choose to push back evil, or “chase away” wickedness. They have collected one million signatures so far, and need additional 500,000 to place the recall of Governor Newsom on the upcoming ballot.
There is talk among those in red states of secession. Some people are joining state militias in preparation, and at the same time gun sales for first time buyers is on the rise. I have even heard people speaking of civil war. Our citizens were already over-stressed with lock-downs from the plague, and the loss of businesses and livelihoods. And now we now have amplified the liberal voice and squelched the conservative voice. The House of Representatives, the Vice President overseeing the Senate, and the new president will be working in concert with the mainstream news channels to spin the liberal narrative. And at the same time social media and tech giants are censoring and canceling conservatives voices. But we have to remember that we Christians have the Holy Spirit who restrains wickedness. “For he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.” 1 John 4:4
Our hope is not to be placed in a president. Our hope is to be placed in God alone! “The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run into it and are safe.” Proverbs 18:10
And, “…those who honor me, I will honor, but those who despise me will be disdained.” 1 Samuel 2:30
After this message, I received four visions.
A Man on a Horse
First I saw a man seated on a horse. He sat there proudly, looking straight ahead. Yet that was not all, there was a chain linked fence that passed through the man and the horse. It was long and continuous, coming from the sides of the man and his horse, and going in both directions .
As I contemplated the vision, I saw him as a guardian, overlooking the landscape. He was holding the line, acting as the very barrier, for he was part of the fence. He would not allow anyone or anything to come within. I believe that this man represents President Trump who built a wall to protect Americans from the invasion of illegal aliens, drug dealers and those engaging in human trafficking.
President Trump I believe was anointed by God to resist and hold the line to the corruption of the deep state. His mere presence stirred up the deep state against him. He challenged and corrected the trajectory of the nation’s path to globalism. He turned our nation on a dime, heading in a new direction towards national independence, national pride, and national sovereignty.
He did much to protect our nation from foreign enemies, even creating a new branch of the military called the Space Force. He took us out of harmful treaties and obligations to other nations that undermined the sovereignty of ours. He took action to hold the line on China and its unwanted export (the virus), and undertook an amazing feat by removing regulations, and supporting the pharmaceutical companies to get a vaccine at “warp speed.” (I can not list all his accomplishments for it would add several pages to this post!)
He has acted as guardian and protector of our nation in spite of the onslaught of attacks by the liberal media, the lies and accusations of the political left and the slander and censorship of big tech and social media.
God has been with Trump. The Lord anointed him and equipped him for his work as commander in chief. Even though the new administration was inaugurated just a day or two ago, January 20, 2021, the Lord is not finished with Trump. He will continue to make a difference in our nation, for we know that “.....he who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Christ Jesus.” Philippians 1:6
So we know that what he has begun in our nation, and what he has begun in President Trump, he will bring to completion, in Jesus Christ our Lord. God will make a way, for something new. He has told me now for years, “Pray for revival.” That mandate has never changed, so we keep praying that God’s will will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Lord Jesus, please protect our nation from the harmful ideologies of socialism and communism. Please protect this nation and our people from the globalist elites and foreign regimes that seek to overtake the United States and to bring her to ruin.
A White Haired Man
In this next vision, I saw a man with white hair, bound up in a shower curtain. Only his head was visible. When I prayed about this part of the vision, I asked the Lord to show me who the man represented. I opened my Bible and my eyes fell upon this passage in the Book of Ezekiel:
The word of the Lord came to me: “Son of man, say to the ruler of Tyre, This is what the Sovereign Lord says: “In the pride of your heart you say, ‘I am a god; I sit on the throne of a god in the heart of the seas.’ But you are a man, and not a god, though you think you are as wise as a god. Are you wiser than Daniel? Is no secret hidden from you? By your wisdom and understanding you have gained wealth for yourself, amassed gold and silver in your treasuries. By your great skill in trading, you have increased your wealth, and because of your wealth, your heart has grown proud. Therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord says:
Because you think you are wise, as wise as a god, I am going to bring foreigners against you, the most ruthless of the nations; and they shall draw their swords against your beauty and wisdom and pierce your shining splendor.
They will bring you down to the pit, and you will die a violent death in the heart of the seas. Will you then say, ‘I am a god,’ in the presence of those who kill you? You will be a man, not a god, in the hands of those who slay you. You will die the death of the uncircumcised at the hand of foreigners. I have spoken, declares the Sovereign Lord.”
When I read this, I realized that the Lord was showing me that the man in the vision represents the wicked leaders of our nation who have become wealthy, by making deals with corporations, foreign investors, and foreign nations. They trade their political power and influence for money. In this way they use their powers to influence legislation, to give special favors, award contracts, and bribe those who need “a little convincing.”
Because these leaders have not been held accountable for their crimes and abuses of power, they do and say whatever they want. They have the media to hide the facts and present a favorable narrative. It appears that they are accountable to no one. As they get away with everything, they believe themselves to be untouchable--imagine--gods?
The passage continues to describe another personality. It is the devil:
“The word of the Lord came to me: Son of man, take up a lament concerning the king of Tyre and say to him, This is what the Sovereign Lord says: You were the model of perfection, full of wisdom and perfect in beauty. You were in Eden, the garden of God; every precious stone adorned you: ruby, topaz, and emerald, chrysolite, onyx, and jasper, sapphire, turquoise, and beryl. Your settings and mountings were made of gold; on the day that you were created they were prepared.
You were anointed as a guardian cherub, for so I ordained you. You were on the holy mount of God; you walked among the fiery stones. You were blameless in your ways from the day you were created, till wickedness was found in you. Through your widespread trade you were filled with violence, and you sinned. So I drove you in disgrace from the mount of God, and I expelled you, O guardian cherub, from among the fiery stones. Your heart became proud on account of your beauty, and you corrupted your wisdom because of your splendor.
So I threw you to the earth; I made a spectacle of you before kings. By your many sins and dishonest trade you have desecrated your sanctuaries. So I made a fire come out from you, and it consumed you, and I reduced you to ashes on the ground in the sight of all who were watching. All the nations who knew you are appalled at you; you have come to a horrible end and will be no more.” Ezekiel 28:1-19
This second person was called the king of Tyre, but is in fact the devil for it describes him as the Lord’s creation who rebelled against God.
When we sin, we open the door to the devil or to his demons. If we continue to sin, with no remorse or without the desire to repent and get right with God, then the door swings wide open and the demon takes up residence. The Lord, I believe, is showing me that our leaders by their corrupt, selfish and greedy actions, by their incessant lies, have opened the door to the wicked one, and have become spiritually bound.
The shower curtain that enveloped the man in the vision represents this bondage. A person may be totally ignorant of this bondage. (I know this to be true for I had to be delivered of a demonic spirit myself).
That is why the Lord said to those nailing him to the cross: “Forgive them Father, for they know not what they do.” Luke 23:34
We must also see that no one is without sin. “If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word is not in us.” 1 John 1:10
I believe the man in the vision represents the political, social and corporate elite of our nation who have given themselves to greed and power so that the demonic powers have bound them and have used them for their wicked purposes. The Lord speaks of the ruler of Tyre as a man who is wise, and has amassed great wealth because of his trade. The ruler represents the elite who act as if they are gods, speaking lies, slandering the innocent, making accusations, committing treasonous acts against the president and our nation, while believing that they can get away with it. They think that they are untouchable, invincible. They act as if they were pure and their motives were above reproach. But, they are bound by their lies, and their treasonous acts. They are bound in a shower curtain, because underneath it, they are naked and exposed.
Just as the Lord dealt with the devil, by relegating him to the earth, and preparing the lake of fire for his eternal punishment, the Lord will deal with the wicked of this world. There will be judgment, whether the Lord chooses to punish them in this life or the next.
Now of course, the Lord does not want any to perish. So we must feel the same. We must follow the Lord’s example and pray for these people for “they know not what they do.” We need to pray that they acknowledge their sin, experience godly sorrow, turn to God and repent.
The Lord expects us to forgive everyone, when they sin. There are no exceptions. He also expects us to ask him to forgive us, when we sin against him or sin against someone else. We have to forgive others because the Lord has forgiven us. “For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you, but If you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.” Matthew 6:14-15
So we forgive. And we also pray for justice, because we know that our nation will not stand, if the laws of our nation mean nothing, and that there is not equal treatment under the law. If people are not held accountable for wrongdoing, then no one will trust the legal system, and anarchy and chaos will reign.
So we pray for justice to be administered, and for mercy to prevail. I have an important vision the Lord gave me many years ago regarding judgment over our nation. It is call: “Judgment, Mercy, Judgment, Mercy….” I hope you will read it because God has warned us time and time again of his judgment against lawlessness. He brings judgment to our nation so that we repent. Once we experience godly sorrow and have a change of heart, He responds by showing us his mercy.
We want every wayward person to leave his life of sin and find true joy serving the Lord. And our leaders are no exception! The Lord has shown us mercy, let us show others mercy too!
A Bowl of Grapes
In the next vision, I saw a bowl of grapes. The grapes were fairly large and elongated in shape resembling green grapes. However, they were not green, but dark in color. They had been removed from their stems, so that each one was separate. The bowl was white.
I believe that the grapes represent a choice. The grapes are already off the stem, ready to eat. They are in a bowl that is the size of a single serving. A person could probably eat all of them within just a minute or two. But I see the grapes as something that I could look at and pass up saying that they are not good for me. They are high in sugar, so I should avoid them. Yet on another day, I might say that I am in good health and I should not be so concerned about the sugar content.
The grapes represent a choice that the Lord is giving us. Will we choose to follow the Lord’s command to pray for our leaders and those in authority, or will be be more concerned to point the finger and blame them for making our lives miserable.
Years ago, our music pastor’s mother, from South Africa, received a message from the Lord for our nation. The Lord spoke to her saying that He wanted to place a born again man in the White House. Bill Clinton was president, and was found to be having an affair with another woman. The Christians were outraged, and spend their time talking of his sin between themselves, and condemning him at every opportunity. The Lord was highly disappointed in the Church, for it failed to forgive, and it failed to pray for Bill Clinton. The Lord told her that Bill would have repented, and the White House would have had a born again leader in the oval office, if the Church had only shown forgiveness, and had prayed for him.
We should learn our lesson, and not repeat this mistake with our new president and vice president. Let us lift them up in prayer along with the representatives and the senate. Let us keep the leaders of the FBI, the CIA, the Dept. of Justice, the Supreme Court and the lower courts, the governors, legislators, the mayors and city councilmen, in our prayers. Let us pray for the military and those working for the government. Let us pray for the news media, the big tech companies, the universities and the educators, the corporations large and small, and everyone in law enforcement. “Pray for leaders and those in authority that you may lead peaceful lives in all godliness and holiness.” 1 Timothy 2:2
When you hear of an individual or group who works to sabotage or undermine the authority of the Constitution, and the rights of our citizens, please refrain from cursing—bless instead. “But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He cause his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and send rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? And if you greet only your own people, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that? Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.” Matthew 5:44-48
The Purse
The last vision was of a purse with a broken strap. I was standing at the back of an open truck which I believe was a moving truck. There was an empty shelf mounted to the side wall of the truck near the rear door. As I lifted the purse from outside the truck, bringing it inside, the broken strap snagged the opening of the truck and then quickly broke free. I then placed the purse on the shelf.
I believe the purse represents money, and security. Most women will not go anywhere without their purse. Everything that a woman considers important is carried inside and brought along with her.
The strap that was broken, suggests that something has gone wrong. It may represent being broke, having lost all, or having no income.
A moving truck, I believe, represents a change of location or change of residence. It is entirely empty—there are no other possessions being loaded.
But having no possessions is not a burden, if one has money to buy what is needed. And since I am a minimalist at heart, the idea of having no possessions is liberating. Of course when it is time for bed, we all want a safe place to lay our head.
I was just reminded of Jesus’ response to someone who asked to follow him. “Jesus replied, ‘Foxes have dens and birds have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay his head.” Matthew 8:20
We do not consider Jesus as being homeless, but in fact he was—by choice.
But the vision, I believe, may mean that many people will be displaced because of the loss of work. People may be evicted because they cannot pay their rent or their mortgage. Some will change locations in hopes of finding employment. Others may have to live with a friend or family member, until they get back on their feet.
This new president has already signed 27 executive orders that will cause great financial and social distress. I wish it were not so, but this is what I believe that the Lord is showing me in this vision.
Those that see the writing on the wall, are pulling up stakes, and changing states. Many are moving from blue cities and blue states to smaller cities and red states.
The Lord sees it all. We may be heading into difficult times ahead. We may all feel the need to escape the socialist/communist agenda, and head for the red states. We may have to start all over again, but the Lord will make a way. Let’s simply trust in him. ”For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,’ declares the Lord. ‘For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways , and my thoughts than your thoughts.’”Isaiah 55:8-9
We need to seek the Lord for his direction and not move simply out of fear. The Lord is the only one who has the answers. So we seek him. “You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart.” Jeremiah 29:13
And remember: “I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11
God is good, so we must also remember, “i will never leave you nor forsake you.” Hebrews 13:5
Thank you Jesus we will continue to pray as I have share before: “for kings and those in authority, that you may lead quiet and peaceful lives in godliness and holiness.” 1 Timothy 2:2
