There is No Peace - But Jesus
Hi Friends,
I hope you are all doing well even though the events of these past few weeks and months have been a bit unnerving. Life has not been without difficulties, but as we keep our eyes on the Lord, we can still experience his peace. I have an important message to share with you today, and it is about that very thing: having peace in the midst of the storm.
I have six visions to share with you today that came over the course of several days.
A Baseball Field and Players
In this vision, I saw a baseball infield filled with baseball players. The area around the pitcher’s mound and towards third base was filled with players wearing blue. The area around home plate towards the dugouts was filled with players in green uniforms. There seemed to be twice as many in blue than there were in green. At the moment, no one was actually playing ball. There was some movement - both groups moving towards each other. There was no emotion, no conversation so it did not seem like the end of a game. They were not switching positions, for no one was going to the dugouts.
Who do these teams represent? Blue represents God or godliness, heaven or royalty. Green represents the earth, life and growth. I believe that the blue team represents the angelic hosts that are God’s ministering angels. The green team represents mankind because man lives on the earth.
As I prayed concerning this vision, I recalled this passage of scripture:
“Now the king of Aram was at war with Israel. After conferring with his officers, he said, “I will set up my camp in such and such a place.”
The man of God sent word to the king of Israel: “Beware of passing that place, because the Arameans are going down there.” So the king of Israel checked on the place indicated by the man of God. Time and again Elisha warned the king, so that he was on his guard in such places.
This enraged the king of Aram. He summoned his officers and demanded of them, “Tell me! Which of us is on the side of the king of Israel?”
“None of us, my lord the king,” said one of his officers, “but Elisha, the prophet who is in Israel, tells the king of Israel the very words you speak in your bedroom.”
“Go, find out where he is,” the king ordered, “so I can send men and capture him.” The report came back: “He is in Dothan.” Then he sent horses and chariots and a strong force there. They went by night and surrounded the city.
When the servant of the man of God got up and went out early the next morning, an army with horses and chariots had surrounded the city. “Oh no, my lord! What shall we do?” the servant asked.
“Don’t be afraid,” the prophet answered. “Those who are with us are more than those who are with them.”
And Elisha prayed, “Open his eyes, Lord, so that he may see.” Then the Lord opened the servant’s eyes, and he looked and saw the hills full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.
As the enemy came down toward him, Elisha prayed to the Lord, “Strike this army with blindness.” So he struck them with blindness, as Elisha had asked.
Elisha told them, “This is not the road and this is not the city. Follow me, and I will lead you to the man you are looking for.” And he led them to Samaria.
After they entered the city, Elisha said, “Lord, open the eyes of these men so they can see.” Then the Lord opened their eyes and they looked, and there they were, inside Samaria.
When the king of Israel saw them, he asked Elisha, “Shall I kill them, my father? Shall I kill them?”
“Do not kill them,” he answered. “Would you kill those you have captured with your own sword or bow? Set food and water before them so that they may eat and drink and then go back to their master.” So he prepared a great feast for them, and after they had finished eating and drinking, he sent them away, and they returned to their master. So the bands from Aram stopped raiding Israel’s territory.” 2 Kings 6:8-33
In the Biblical account, the armies of the Lord were greater than the armies of the king of Aram. In the vision, the blue team was greater in number than the green team. Just as God provided the necessary protection for Elisha and his servant, God dispatches his angels to our rescue. When we are overwhelmed with events in our lives, and even now while our nation experiences political and social unrest, economic uncertainty and the threat of sickness or disease, God is ever present. He helps us in these times, sending his Holy Spirit to comfort us. He gives us insight and wisdom to help us overcome our obstacles and fears.
It is interesting that the Lord opened the servant’s spiritual eyes to see the army of angels that he had provided. And then God caused the king of Aram’s army to become physically blind and so make them defenseless. In the blinded state, they were easily given into the hand of their enemy the king of Israel.
But notice how God worked things out. Elisha directed the king of Israel to not kill them, but to treat them well. And so these men returned to Aram with a healthy respect for the Lord God, who had the power to blind them as well as to heal them. In this way, the Lord was given honor and the hearts of Israel’s enemies were changed. They no longer came to raid Israel.
God’s ways are always better than our own. “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.” Isaiah 55:8-9
The Walnut and the Band saw
In the vision, I saw a walnut in its shell placed on a band saw. It appeared as if someone was going to attempt to open the shell by running it through the blade. This is obviously an improper, and dangerous means of opening a nut. How could you hold the nut to keep the blade from slipping on the nut’s hard, curved surface? In all likelihood, the nut would pop off the table the moment the blade made contact with the nut. This is idiocy, or foolishness. What is needed is a nutcracker, not a band saw.
I believe that this vision reiterates the theme from the first vision - God’s ways are higher than our ways. And I was reminded of another scripture: “There is a way which seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death.” Proverbs 13:12
The Giant Insect
I saw a huge beetle, about six inches long and two and a half inches in width. In the vision, the beetle was having a difficult time fighting off an army of ants.
When I saw this vision, it reminded me of the story Gulliver's Travels. Gulliver the main character, travels to a strange Island called Lilliput. He awakens to find himself bound head to foot with many tiny ropes. The inhabitants of the island, are very tiny people only about a twelfth the height of a normal person.
This vision also reminded me of one of David’s prophetic psalms, foretelling the suffering of the Lord. ”Dogs surround me, a pack of villains encircles me; they pierce my hands and my feet.” Psalm 22:16
In the vision the beetle represents someone who is powerful in size, and in strength, and who should be able to resist and overwhelm an army of tiny people or creatures. Yet there are times when great numbers of smaller but determined and defiant people can overcome their opponent. Jesus being God, could have easily called a thousand angels to his defense, but chose instead to die a shameful death on the cross. “God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God." 2 Corinthians 5:21
I believe that the giant beetle represents our president, Donald Trump. The mainstream media, the political Left and the wealthy elite have for the last four years tried to bring Trump down, with every possible tactic and every possible accusation. They are the ants in the vision, who with determination and in defiance of the rule of law, and the Constitution, will stop at nothing to undermine the presidency.
The giant beetle also represents our nation, the United States. The globalists’ ideology and goals are in direct opposition to everything for which Trump stands. “Making America Great,” threatens to undermine their goals. They do not want America to be a sovereign nation. They are against patriotism, and nationalism. They want no borders. Their goal is to bring us down while making other nations strong. Uniformity is the goal. The European Union demonstrates this ideal. Yet it is the providence of God that has caused Britain to choose to become independent and a sovereign nation with its own borders and its own currency. They have left the globalists in pursuit of autonomy.
These globalists have prospered under the former administrations, making treaties that helped to strengthen other nations but weaken our own. They have encouraged businesses to build factories and to send jobs overseas. They have used foreign aid to influence nations to do their bidding. They have prospered by redirecting monies for foreign aid back into their own pockets.
Through lies and misinformation, our economy was shut down. All the smaller businesses were closed so that the larger well established chains prospered. This was another blow to the middle class. This was an unfair trade decision that benefited the globalist agenda once again. There is nothing that is coincidental. It was a preconceived plan to use China as a model in shutting down our economy.
Had we instead followed Sweden’s model, and not shut down the economy, but focused attention on the elderly in nursing homes, we would have had less deaths and our nation would not have been pushed to the limits of emotional and mental distress. Had we not shut down our economy, all those who have been burning and looting our cities would have been employed. “Idle hands are the devil’s workshop.”.
These Leftist groups are more than willing to destroy our nation economically, socially and morally, so that through division, moral corruption, chaos and lies, they can blame Trump and gain back political power. They have set their sights on a global economy, a one world government, and a unified social order. They are willing to torch America, and devastate our economy for they believe that only the most wealthy and influential people will control the whole earth. This sounds like it comes from a fictional novel. But it has always been in the minds of great conquerors to “rule the world.” This is nothing new—it is to be expected. Great power corrupts people.
Confetti
In the vision, I saw nothing but lots and lots of confetti flickering in the air. Confetti is used to celebrate something. So what are we celebrating?
Who we are, and what we value, determines what we celebrate. As we look at the current events in our nation, all of us would fill in the blank to this statement differently.
When will the___________be over? When it is over, let’s celebrate!
When will the Corona Virus be over?
When will the lock-down end?
When will the rioting stop?
When will racial profiling end?
When will corruption in government end?
When will the media’s lying stop?
When will abortion be eliminated?
When will the accusations against the President end?
When will the attacks on our freedoms stop?
This list could literally go on forever. But what is the answer to these questions? The answers:
When we get a vaccination, everything will get back to normal.
When we have no police and no law, we will have equality.
When the Left controls the House, the Senate and the White House, things will be perfect.
When everyone is on welfare, we will not have to worry about anything.
When we have healthcare and college education for all, life will be great.
When the nation is broke, we will be like all the rest of the world. That’s cool!
Is this the life you are aiming for? Is this the life people want? Everything is free! (Who is paying for it?”) Who will be going to work so that you can stay home?
These are all questions for everyone to contemplate. But the answer to everyone of these questions is Jesus. And, whether you accept Jesus as the answer will make all the difference as to how you see the events of the day. Jesus spoke of these days:
“You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of birth pains.
“Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me. At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.” Matthew 24:5-14
We can celebrate Jesus, as the answer to these questions. Everyday, no matter what the day may hold, Jesus remains the same. His promises will continue; they will not be revoked. But he also said, “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” John 16:33
The Lord does not want us to worry. “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?
“And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith? So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. Matthew 6:25-34
So if we have Jesus we can have peace in the midst of turmoil. “You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.” Isaiah 26:3
The Egg
In this vision I saw half of a hard boiled egg on a kitchen counter. The exposed yoke was facing upright. The egg was resting near the back splash of the counter, between the microwave and the adjacent wall.
An egg represents life. But this egg was cooked and cut in half. It represents life that once was, but has since been cut down. It represents abortion. The remains, of this life that once was, is in a hidden location, between a microwave and the adjacent wall. I believe that this lack of respect for life is one reason for all the trouble our nation has seen in these recent years. God hates violence. He hates murder. “Thou shalt not kill.” Exodus 20:13
Once someone understands the ideology behind the globalists’ agenda, then it is easy to put these pieces together. As I have mentioned in my former posts, the premise upon which these globalists build their arguments is this: We have a finite amount of space and resources on this planet. It is best to keep the world population at a perfect setting for all the inhabitants to have enough. Everyone should do whatever they can to limit the production of children, by using all means available: birth control pills, injections, contraceptive devices and abortion. Also limiting opportunities for fertilization through educating women of the merits of having no children or fewer children, and promoting gay and lesbian lifestyles.
In the vision, the egg could be seen, but not easily. It was hiding behind the microwave. It is important to seek God, for he is the revealer of all truth. ”Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known.” Jeremiah 33:3
If you think about the Left’s agenda, you will see why they are for no borders, no police, no ICE, no guns, voting rights for everyone, even non-citizens, no limits on abortion, free government healthcare, free college tuition, legalizing drugs, the green new deal…...
Their agenda is all about control and intolerance. They do not want free speech. They do not want debate. They want to shut down those that oppose their ideology, and they have the mainstream media to filter what they want America to know.
We are only steps away from becoming a nation like Communist China where everyone is equal - equal with no rights, and no protection under the law.
How does anyone fight a system when he has no voice? How do you know what is true when the government creates the narratives for the news stories? China is now rolling out a new monetary system to replace paper money and coins. Everything will be controlled by the government. They claim that it is for their convenience—but it gives the government more control over the individual. An individual’s pay can be withheld for any reason, and they can refuse to release funds for purchases that they deem as unnecessary or unlawful. They could limit purchases of food, medicines, or transportation.
This same thing can happen to our nation if conservative voices are silenced by social media and the internet. If we are not able to speak out, and to fight to maintain our freedoms, they could easily be lost.
We see that the Left has no desire to limit trade with China. They have a good thing going, and would rather jeopardize our national security than to lose out on a trade deal that makes them money.
I understand that what I have written may be more than you want to know and that what I am saying can cause you a bit of anxiety. But remember that when we take these situations to the Lord he gives us peace. We must also keep in mind this scripture that I have quoted often:
“If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14
A Tall Man in a White Sweater
In this vision, I saw a tall man wearing a long sleeved white tennis sweater. It had a V-neck with a banding of two stripes: blue and red. The man wore a white baseball cap and stood to the right of a woman. She was dressed in a plain dress. Across from the tall man was another man who had dark hair and wore a dark suit and glasses. His hair was parted and slicked down. As the two men faced each other, the tall man in white took a step forward towards the man in the suit. The tall man said something directly to the other man, however I did not hear a word.
I believe that the very tall man wearing a white sweater was an angel. I believe that he was acting to protect the woman from whatever scheme or motive that the man had towards her. The tall man took a step forward to stand between them.
I believe that God dispatches his angels to protect us from harm. I do not know what could have taken place if the angel had not intervened, but we should all be thankful every time we are aware of God’s protection and provision.
A Summary
God dispatches his angels to keep us from harm.
His ways are higher than our ways. His ways are better than our ways.
When we seek God first, he will take care of our needs.
He will keep up in perfect peace when we keep our heart and our mind focused upon him.
If we seek God above all things, and repent of our sinful ways, then the Lord will forgive us and heal our nation.
So please pray and keep on praying. We need to see a break-through in the course of our nation. We need to seek God for healing and restoration, peace and deliverance from the plans of the wicked one. Let’s pray for a revival. Our nation is hurting—we need to mend.
