The Salt of the Earth
Hi Friends,
I am writing about four visions that concern the issues of the day. There is no doubt that God is uncovering and exposing the lies and corruption in government. I know that this is the Lord’s timing, for the election is to be here soon, and the lies must stop.
I know that some people reading this, must think that it is crazy to believe that God is involved, or concerned at all, with what is going on in our nation. Some believe that God may have created the universe but then became bored and stepped away. But I want to say to you that this is absolutely not the case.
For those who have never heard the voice of God, or who have never experienced his presence, I know that this is a big reach for you. But please, trust me, and everyone who is born again, will tell you emphatically, unequivocally, that God is real. He is omnipresent and he is very much involved with our lives. He wants you to know him too. “If you seek me you will find me, if you seek me with all your heart.” Jeremiah 29:13
And for so many who do not know the Lord: “I revealed myself to those who did not ask for me; I was found by those who did not seek me. To a nation that did not call on my name, I said, ‘Here am I, here am I.’” Isaiah 65:1
Hallelujah! When we pray, God will reveal himself to those who are going their own way, and have no clue as to who he is. So, If you are willing to believe that the Lord is God, and that he cares for you--then let me continue….
A Four Part Vision
Part 1 The Needle
I saw a needle protruding from an air mattress that I was rolling up. The needle stuck halfway out. I did not pull it out, but stopped rolling the mattress, for if I were to continue, the needle would either make a second puncture, or be pushed completely inside the mattress, making it hard to find the hole, and repair the leak.
This vision is all about leaking. In general, a leak has a cause, and a location. The implement that caused the leak needs to be removed, and the leak repaired. An air mattress is a container that holds air for the purposes of supporting the body comfortably. It also protects the body from rocks or sticks on the ground. I believe that the air mattress represents the government as it was designed to serve and protect its citizens.
The needle is a sharp object which can puncture the air mattress and nullify its usefulness. The sharp needle represents a sharp word or lie that can penetrate and tear.
In the vision, I was rolling up the mattress, ready to put it away. This represents a change. There is a time to use it, and a time to put it away. When we think that the night is over and the day has come, we are ready to put things away and declare that they are done, they are complete, they are finished. Yet as I was rolling up the mattress, declaring that a time was over and the day was to begin, that is when I discovered the needle.
The needle had penetrated the mattress and was half in and half out. The needle needed to be removed because it would make a hole and cause a leak. However, If you remove the needle before marking the hole, it will be difficult to find the hole and repair the leak. Everything must be done in order.
If you remember, in the beginning of the Trump presidency, there seemed to be a continual flow of security leaks to the press. These leaks were extremely damaging to the White House and its staff. Everyone could see that there were ghastly leaks, but no one knew who was behind them. It was a terrible form of wickedness, and many people have suffered at the hands of these wicked people.
So the needle represents all the lies and events that have taken place to unseat our president and those who are and were his advisors. Lies and false accusations have been there ever since it appeared that Trump was the primary candidate in opposition to the party of the incumbent president. From that time, until now, there has been no rest for President Trump, and no honor paid to the highest position in our land.
The needle is still in the mattress. The lies and perpetrators of these lies are still in the government. But the needle must be removed, otherwise the air mattress (government) cannot function as it was designed. The needle must be removed and the patch secured in its place. We cannot put this away, or feel that the night is over and the day begun, until the lies are exposed and the evil people are removed. The patch that is not seen in the vision, but is needed, is hope. Only the Lord can give hope and a promise of a new day.
Just a few days ago, it was announced that the charges against a three star general, Michael Flynn were unfounded and the case should be dropped. He was an honorable man falsely accused. We are praying that he will be officially exonerated, by the judge. The Lord is our hope for Michael Flynn to have the promise of a new day. God is faithful—it will happen.
The patch that was not seen, is what is needed to restore the government in the eyes of the nation. We need the Lord’s solution.
A Prayer
We are seeking you Lord and trusting you to help this nation to select men and women of integrity who will be elected this fall to serve faithfully in the various offices in our government. We would ask that you would supply the Senate and the House of Representatives with servants that will fear your name, and uphold the Constitution as it was written. We pray that laws will be enacted that protect the lives of the unborn, and laws that will align with your will. We pray that these people will not seek their own honor but will govern our country with truthfulness and will uphold the Constitution. We pray that there will no longer be people in office that misuse their power to destroy innocent lives for money and control. We pray that you will remove the needle from the air mattress, and patch it with truth, and justice. That our government and its various departments will bring you honor, and every citizen will be treated with respect and equality. Thank you Jesus, for you will select the patch, and you will restore people’s faith in this government.
Part 2 The Seasoned Salt
I saw myself pouring what I recognized to be Lawry’s Season Salt into a white bowl. For some odd reason, I had a fore thought that my hand would fail me. And so it was, that I was not steady, and I spilled some of the orange colored salt onto the counter.
Salt is a preservative that has been used throughout the generations to preserve meats. It was also used to preserve bodies in Egyptian mummies. Salt preserves from decay by dehydrating bacteria, for it is the bacteria that causes things to rot. The salt content in the water of the Dead Sea is so high that nothing lives in the sea. In this case salt kills life.
On the other hand, salt is essential for life. Every cell in our bodies floats in interstitial tissue, a salty fluid. Your blood is salty as well as your sweat. We need salt to survive. Even animals will travel for miles just to find a salt lick.
Salt in the Bible is used to describe what is in us, that gives us spiritual life. Jesus said, “You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled by men.” Matthew 5:13
I must quote from the notes of my Bible on this passage. (Full Life Study Bible, Donald C. Stamps, 1992 Life Publishers and Zondervan Publishing House, p.1411, note: 5:13)
“As salt is valuable to give flavor and to preserve from corruption, believers and the church must be godly examples in the world and must resist the moral decay and corruption evident in society, (1) Churches that become lukewarm, quench the power of the Holy Spirit and cease to resist the prevailing spirit in the world will be “thrown out” by God (see Rev 3:15-16 note). (2) They consequently will be “trampled by men”; i.e., those who are lukewarm, together with their families, will be destroyed by the ways and values of an ungodly society (cf. Dt 28:13, 43, 48; Jdg 2:20-22).”
In the vision, my desire was that the salt, which keeps us from corruption, would be poured out into the bowl. The bowl, I believe, represents complacent believers, backsliders, family members, and everyone for whom we pray, to come to the Lord. We want them to have salt within themselves, so that they would be kept from the contamination, corruption and decay of this wicked world.
In the vision I had doubt that all the salt would make it into the bowl. The Lord God has given all men freewill. We can choose to live for the Lord and keep ourselves pure, walking in his ways, or we can choose a path of our own, that pleases us but disregards the Lord’s plan for our lives.
If the Holy Spirit does not reside within us, then there is no salt in us. Even so, believers can backslide by becoming enticed by the things of the world. If we are not walking daily with the Lord, we can lose our desire for him. We can become lukewarm, complacent, and distant, giving him lip service, rather than our hearts.
Somehow, in the vision I fulfilled the anticipated outcome, that I would spill some of the salt outside the bowl. If the spilled salt were to go into the world and accomplish something, we could celebrate—but the salt (the Holy Spirit) belongs in believers, so I believe that this is salt that is lost.
We are told to have salt within us, and to continue to have salt. In this case the salt represents faith in the Lord, the presence of the indwelling Holy Spirit, and obedience to the call of God to advance his kingdom on the earth.
The Lord continues: “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house.” Matthew 5:15
It is by being salt and light to the world, that the kingdom of God grows and remains strong. So we continue to trust the Lord to use us to reach the world for his kingdom.
Part 3 The Newspapers
In this vision, my eyes were directed to a computer screen that showed a full screen video of newspapers scrolling up very fast. It reminded me of newspapers folded in half and moving on a conveyor belt to the shipping department. “Hot off the presses!”
The speed of the newspapers scrolling represents an urgency to “Get the message out!” It is like a herald yelling, “Hear ye, Hear ye, Read all about it!”
Today, most people get their news from television and online. We no longer wait until 5:00 in the evening to pick up the evening paper, or listen to the news on television, because news is now broadcast 24 hours per day. And everyone is listening to the news media that they prefer and trust.
Unfortunately, there are only five large corporations that own the mainstream news media: Time Warner, Disney, Murdoch’s News Corp., Bertelsmann of Germany and Viacom. These five corporations control the news that we as Americans see. The mainstream media is no longer attempting to bring the news in an impartial, non-biased voice. The voices you hear and the faces that you see on national news are people who have been carefully selected from the Washington crowd. These people are not all trained as journalists, rather they are those who have formerly worked in Washington. Many have held staff positions working for various governmental leaders and agencies. Others were judges, attorneys and those with strong political ties.
Because these people were selected to represent the political views of these five corporations, we view the news through their eyes. They feature the news that supports their views. They omit altogether, or under report news that is complementary to their political foes. Misrepresenting the facts, and perverting the truth is the norm.
Please read this very important post: “Lies, Judgment and a Seal,” to understand what I believe God is showing me about this. In a nutshell, the message is this: “They will be turned on their heads and their lies will be exposed.”
In the vision, the newspapers were moving fast. I believe that God’s message of truth, and his gospel, the “Good News,” is what needs to be proclaimed. It is a call of urgency to “Get the message out.” We are all given the commission to proclaim the Good News to reach the lost. It is time for the Church to wake up and move out. God intends to use us, technology and social media to spread the Gospel.
Now is a perfect time to share the gospel. When fear and uncertainty are running rampant, people will be seeking answers. When the media creates and stirs up fear over the corona virus, and government officials drag their feet to open the nation’s economy, the fear of financial ruin and economic collapse loom large. The fear of the left winning the White House bringing in wide sweeping social reforms keeps many up at night.
But what does the Lord say about worry? “Martha, Martha, you are anxious and troubled about many things, but one thing is needed. Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken from her.” Luke 10:42
The Lord also spoke about worry in the sermon on the mount: “Therefore do not be anxious, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or, ‘What shall we drink?’ or, “What shall we wear?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you have need of them all. But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” Matthew 6:31-3
“You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.” Isaiah 26:3
“Do not be anxious about anything, but with prayer and petition and with thanksgiving, present your requests before God, and the peace of God that passes all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in him.” Philippians 4:6
We need to seek God, to choose to trust him and not give in to worry. We need to overcome our fears and take captive these negative thoughts. Focus your mind on what is good.
“Finally brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable--if anything is excellent or praiseworthy--think about such things.” Philippians 4:8
David J. Schwartz, who wrote “The Magic of Thinking Big,” said: “Action cures fear.” And it seems so. So if we are fearful of getting sick, or fearful of having no work, or fearful of economic collapse, remember that the Lord said, “Seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things will be added to you.” So we should first seek God, and then take action. When we share the gospel, help those in need, pray for those in distress, and comfort the hurting, we are doing God’s work. As a result, we will have joy and peace and the Lord will smile and say, “Well done, good and faithful servant!”
Part 4 A Red Haired Man
In the vision, I saw a man whose red hair became oxidized as if the strands were made of copper filaments instead of human hair. The head became partially covered in blotches of bluish-green spots varying in size from 1 ½” to 3 ½” in diameter. The hair melted together or congealed so that the strands were no longer separate.
I prayed over this part of the vision because I was having trouble understanding it’s meaning. Last night I had to stop writing and seek God again. While in prayer he gave me two more visions to help me understand.
First I saw three women dressed as cowgirls with calf-length skirts made of leather and fringed at the hemline. They wore white blouses and white boleros (short vests). The women were three different heights: one tall, one medium and one short. The tall woman wore a black hat which distinguished her from the other two who wore identical white hats. The taller woman seemed to be the leader. They all entered a room, but did not see me. I could not see their faces.
Then I saw a cut flower with a long stem and no leaves fall flat, as if it were a tall tree that had been felled in a forest.
The three cowgirls I believe to be demons. The Lord usually hides the faces of demons in my visions. They have just come through a doorway, entering a room. They do not know that I am looking on. Demons are always up to no good. They represent evil in all its forms. They are dressed to appear as “the good guys,” wearing white and at least two are wearing white hats. The apostle Paul speaks of people used by the devil to deceive: “For such people are false apostles, deceitful workers, masquerading as apostles of Christ. And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light.” 2 Corinthians 11:14
And what is their mission? Who or what is the target? We see in the next vision a flower cut down, stripped of its leaves, having fallen flat—dead. Who does the enemy want to cut down?
When I was a small child, my father called all his little girls “flowers.” My two brothers, he called “stink weeds!” My dad was always teasing us!
We see that the flower was alone. It was cut at the base and fell flat upon the surface. At this very moment, with much of the economy still shut down, and with the seclusion and isolation of people from friends and loved ones, there is increased risk for mental health issues and suicide. “The Lord God said, “It is not good for man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.” Genesis 2:18
The Lord knew that Adam needed companionship, just as we all do. None of us were meant to live in isolation. We, believers, are not to be alone and separate from others in the church: “Let us not neglect meeting together, as some have made a habit, but let us encourage one another, and all the more as you see the Day approaching.” Hebrews 10:25
“Suicidal thoughts and behaviors are associated with social isolation and loneliness. Therefore, from a suicide prevention perspective, it is concerning that the most critical public health strategy for the COVID-19 crisis is social distancing. Furthermore, family and friends remain isolated from individuals who are hospitalized, even when their deaths are imminent. To the extent that these strategies increase social isolation and loneliness, they may increase suicide risk.” (JAMA Psychiatry, 4/10/2020 “Suicide Mortality and Coronavirus Disease 2019 --A Perfect Storm?”)
These two visions were given so that I could understand Part 4 The Man with the Red Hair. So now I understand better, it does concern the problem with mental health and suicide.
The red hair oxidized, and turned into irregular, round medallions of a bluish-green. The hair as copper filaments, I believe represent communication lines to, from and within the person. These lines of communication would include communication between the person and his circle of friends and family. It would include communication that he would receive from social media, news, entertainment, and other similar sources. It would include communication within his own mind, his thoughts, and his imagination. It would also include the thoughts, fears, doubts, and temptations that the devil’s demons plant in both his conscience and his subconscious mind.
I believe that this man in the vision represents all mankind. His communication with others and within himself has become corroded. His thoughts are no longer pure, or true, but have become corrupted by what he hears and what he sees coming from the world.
Isolation, and the continuous flow of negative and fearful messages have corroded and contaminated this man’s mind, leaving him in a depressed state. The evil one uses the media and other fear mongers to stir up trouble and cause confusion and uncertainty. This man who represent many, are at risk for suicide or anxiety attacks. It is important that we pray for them. It is important that these people who have been isolated are called back to work. Those that have families to feed are at great risk too.
The social distancing protocol implemented by the government has caused a great deal harm to the nation as a whole. We must get people back to work and in a mentally healthful environment. People die from loneliness and depression, just as they do from viruses and other causes.
A Prayer
Lord Jesus, we pray for our nation and for its vulnerable citizens, those in nursing homes and the elderly, those who have faulty immune systems, and those who are emotionally and mentally unstable. We pray that they will come to know you as the Prince of Peace, as their Lord and Savior. We pray that they will be healed and restored in body soul and spirit.
We pray that our leaders will work together for the common good, and to get our economy back on its feet. We pray that our leaders would have wisdom, and integrity, that they would behave as honorable men entrusted to work on behalf of our citizens. We pray that all corruption would be exposed. And we pray that our nation would once again be fruitful and productive, providing every citizen with an opportunity to succeed in their chosen field.
We bind up every sickness and disease attacking our people. We declare that every corona virus is destroyed and will not be able to mount another attack, in the Name of Jesus! We pray that our natural immune systems will attack and defeat these viruses so that no vaccines will be used. We pray that the flu vaccines that have been used in the past, which have made our people especially vulnerable to the corona virus will no longer be marketed and pushed upon our people. Lord, we acknowledge that we are fearfully and wonderfully made. We pray that our people will learn to eat well, and maintain a healthy weight, so as to enhance their God given immune systems and no longer be at an increased risk of sickness or disease. We pray that we will be a nation filled with people who are healthy and free of any dependencies on pharmaceutical medicines. And most importantly, we pray that our nation will turn to God!
“If my people who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14
