A Red Fighter

This vision of a red fighter I received on October 7, 2009.  It is a vision of judgment.

I saw a man with medium length, blond hair cut in a blunt style, and dressed in a red robe.  He was kneeling on one knee and holding a red fighter jet by the wings, with its nose pointed upward.  The nose of the jet was elongated, resembling a missile or rocket.  The wings were broad and flat, triangular in shape.  The man took a deep breath and blew upon the fighter jet, as if to empower it to do its task.

 Seconds later, I saw a foot wearing a sandal, with laces that lace from the edges of the sole across the instep.  The shoe was laced forming the letter X, and then was re-laced to form the letter V.

Then, the third part of the vision, I see a metal, cone shaped object, whose point is open.  Inside the opening is something spherical which is black.  It comes up out of the cone, protruding slightly and then returns to its original place inside the cone.  The front face of the cone has two cut edges resembling over lapping tulip petals which move to allow the object inside to protrude or retract.

I believe that the first part of the vision concerns judgment.  Red symbolizes blood.  The man wearing red is the angel of the Lord - an angel with instructions to bring death and destruction. When I looked up fighters and images on the internet, the red jet fighter I saw in the vision was like the Russian MiG-51S.  The shape of the wings and nose and the red color were identical, however the image I saw on the internet had a hammer and sickle emblem on the wings, where the fighter in my vision did not have such an emblem.

In the Old Testament, God used foreign nations to punish Israel for its sin.  The red fighter is Russian made, but perhaps not Russian owned, since the hammer and sickle emblem was not on the jet.  This could mean a military attack against our nation, or one of our allies.

In the third part of the vision, the metal cone with over-lapping panels opens to reveal just the rounded tip of a black object.  I believe that object is a missile.  It comes out slightly and then returns to its housing.  I believe this to mean that the missile is in ready-mode.

The second part of the vision shows an X and V.  Placed together they mean 15.  According to Bible Study Site, the number 15 means "rest."

The Meaning of Numbers: The Number 15

The number 15 in the Bible pictures rest, which comes after deliverance, represented by fourteen. The 15th day of the first Hebrew month (Nisan) is the first day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread, a day of rest for the children of Israel (and for Christians). The 15th day of the 7th Hebrew month begins the Feast of Tabernacles, also a day of rest.

God told Abraham in a vision, just as the sun was setting to begin Nisan 15 on the Hebrew calendar, that his descendants would end up as slaves in a foreign country (Egypt). They would, however, eventually be set free (Genesis 15:12 - 16). Many years later in Egypt, God miraculously delivered Israel's firstborn from the death angel just as Passover began after sunset (Nisan 14). Then, 24 hours later (just as the sun was setting to begin Nisan 15), the children of Israel began to leave Egypt (Exodus 12:40 - 41). This night is referred to as the 'night to be much observed' (Exodus 12:40 - 42, Deuteronomy 16:1). God's prophecy of freedom, given to Abraham on Nisan 15, was fulfilled years later on the exact same day.

After dying on the cross, Jesus' body is placed in a Garden Tomb as the sun was setting to begin Nisan 15 in 30 A.D. (Matthew 27:57 - 61, Luke 23:50 - 55, John 19:38 - 42).

For Christians, the first day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread (Nisan 15) pictures rest from their sins, having had them removed by Christ's shed blood on Passover. The 15th day of the 7th month begins the Feast of Tabernacles. For the children of Israel, it pictured rest from the long harvest season. They were to dwell in booths in remembrance of their trek in the wilderness.

Prophetically, the 15th day of the 7th month pictures the coming Millennium when the world will have rest from sin because of the binding of Satan on the Day of Atonement. Under Christ's reign, salvation will then be offered to all the world, becoming the great spiritual harvest of God for 1,000 years.

 I see that God is offering rest if we choose to be obedient to him, and war and bloodshed if we choose to be disobedient.  If we, (the church), return to him in repentance, and a real change of heart, honoring him, then He will give us rest.  If however, there is continued rebellion against God's authority and a disrespect for his ways, (having written his laws upon our hearts), he will send war, and destruction,  The missile appeared and was retracted.  This is a show of God's patience, but as a father who disciplines his children, he will do what he knows is necessary.  I have been distressed by the political climate, the rebelliousness, and fear mongering that has been the signature of the forces aligned against the president.  This is not merely a sign of discontent, but blatant rebellion against God.  "Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established.  The authorities that exist have been established by God."   Romans 13:1

We need to learn from Nebuchadnezzar, a Babylonian king who was disciplined by the Lord. "Now I, Nebuchanezzar, praise and exalt and glorify the King of heaven, because everything he does is right and all his ways are just.  And those who walk in pride he is able to humble." Daniel 4:37  

Please pray for our president, that he will make godly decisions on behalf of our nation.  Pray that our Supreme Court will judge rightly.  Pray that they receive God's wisdom when judging the constitutionality of a bill or law.  And pray for our Senate and Congress that they would make laws that reflect God's goodness, that we would be able to live in freedom and in safety.  But most importantly, pray for the church, that we would do our part as written in 2 Chronicles 7:14. 

If my people who are called by my name would humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and forgive their sin and heal their land.
